  1. You know who's a fun team to watch....the Astros. They have a very good 2 thru 6 in the lineup.
  2. Now this is just horrible. Pull them off the freaking field.
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:01 AM) Punto will make up for his F up. Just the way things go. Good call....pathetic performance by Buehrle tonight. If there were actually fans at the park, they should be booing the crap out of this team.
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 8, 2008 -> 04:00 AM) Swish didn't do too great of a job getting set on that one. I know that doesn't surprise you.
  5. Any game where we want to start Brian Anderson, I think that would be fine with me.
  6. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:59 AM) News flash, Rowand has been gone for two years. Move on to another man crush. Yes Dye moves in slow motion. The decision to dump him past last year, he has a NTC this year, so he will be out there until his legs fall off. And yes, I have often been confused with Hawk. Oh and my favorite guy is Greg Walker, he is the bestest hitting coach as well. Rowand's arm was horrific in CF his last two seasons with the White Sox.
  7. Ugh, terrible by Swisher. This team is so bad with fundamentals.
  8. Buehrle can easily pick off Delmon at first.
  9. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 8, 2008 -> 02:56 AM) Blood pressure is fine. If this team is too stupid to fire the hitting coach after a more than a year and a half of ineptitude then its their own fault. The other team must giggle when they plan their attack. So coach, if I spot low and away I can dominate them. I feel bad for Buerhle who is getting jabbed just like last year. He pitches fine, and the asshole hitting crew cant put together a thing. We would have the best record in the AL by far if we had a medicore offense. True, it's to the point where you can't really get too upset. If the offense is this mediocre, they're not doing s*** this season anyways.
  10. Hit parade starting against Buehrle.
  11. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:54 AM) I've seen enough to know this game is over. Another pathetic night. It's disappointing when the other team hits a leadoff homer, and you honestly question if that's enough. I feel like we're the Dodgers from a few seasons ago, or the Padres of the past few years.
  12. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:52 AM) Swish just unlocked the formula. Think quick stroke, drive the ball back up the middle if you can. If you try to do too much, you screw yourself. Then Crede of course, rips one on the ground because he is part of the pull monkey coalition of the blind. I can only imagine how high your blood pressure is tonight.
  13. Dirty 3 for last 30 gets a hit.
  14. And AJP rolls over on a high, outside change-up. This has been worse than anything in Toronto.
  15. It's just disappointing that after last night's fun win, this team had no energy tonight.
  16. Absolutely atrocious pitch by Buehrle there.
  17. Patriots might want to start looking for a new coach. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3386162
  18. Big out in Gomez here for Buehrle.
  19. QUOTE (WillieHarris2 @ May 8, 2008 -> 02:41 AM) to answer your question yes ive seen the sox play this year and from what i've seen, nick swisher doesnt cut off balls in gaps the way aaron rowand used too (used too aka hes not on the team anymore). i have yet to see swisher cut off a ball in a gap and throw out a guy like i saw from alexi ramierez of all people. quentin has yet to show me that his arm is above average with only 2 assists, which is the same amount as just about every other person in the league or in other words average. last year he only had 2 assists in 76 games i believe If you don't think that Quentin has a strong arm, then do yourself a favor and start watching a new sport.
  20. Buehrle has to be wondering what he has to do for some run support.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:38 AM) I wish. Sometimes we say our batters are swinging for the fences just to be critical, but tonight with the slow stiff, they are really trying to swing for the fence, except for AJ's single. How about Dye pulling tht 82 mph pitch off the plate right to the 3rd baseman? I'd also like to see Ozzie give our 3/4/5 the green light on the 3-0 pitch.
  22. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:37 AM) There wasn't much behind Crede's swing. It was a contact swing the whole way. Stop being so negative!
  23. It figures...I've seen Livan pitch a lot over the years, and I've never seen him come close to having this type of success with his slow curve. Can Walker be fired during the game?
  24. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 8, 2008 -> 03:28 AM) There have been 2 good swings by our hitters tonight. 2. Thome's fly out and AJ's single. Dye had a decent swing, as did Crede. The problem so far is we're letting Livan dictate what pitch we swing at.
  25. Sox offense needs to get it going sooner than later before it gets too late and we face Neshek and Nathan.
