Swisher's looked bad out in center tonight. First bad defensive game he's had.

QUOTE (Fotop @ May 6, 2008 -> 12:53 AM) Matt f'n Stairs. That guy has murdered us this series, no? Too bad they don't have Frank Thomas playing instead.

In all honesty, we're looking at being 5 out by Thursday if this offense doesn't get going.

Nice jinx by DJ. We're not very good!

Looks like the F bomb rant by Ozzie got this team fired up.

Dye usually would have driven that deep to right center, but his back foot movement is making it impossible for him to drive the ball.

Wow, PK just looks foolish. Send him to the DL pronto!

Dusty is leaving Cueto in way too long. He's at 100 pitches, and his velocity has dropped from 96 mph to 90 mph.

Clutch play by OC!

QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ May 6, 2008 -> 12:39 AM) Moves I would make-call up Fields, Owens, Broadway. Send down Russell, Masset, Ozuna. Send down Ramirez, there's no point for him to be on the roster.

Another inspired offensive outing. This team might not even get double digits for the 6 game road trip.

I'd do anything for the Sox to have the Cubs lineup. Even in games they lose, they find ways to get men on base. I believe they're 3rd in baseball in walks.

Another terrible AB.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2008 -> 01:21 AM) Honestly, at this point...what harm could it do? Nothing...a big problem seems to be that everyone in the organization is scared of the veterans. Maybe Ozzie and Walker are too close with guys like Dye/PK/Thome/AJ/Crede, and it's become too difficult to communicate effectively with them. I think we can all agree we'll be livid if nothing happens and the offense just stalls all season, like 2007.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 6, 2008 -> 01:18 AM) I thought they were finally putting the blame on the White Sox offense instead of the usual "tip your cap" BS line. Greg Walker keeps his job because hitting coaches don't matter! It's all on the players!!!!!!! Well, maybe inflatable doll-gate will cause Ozzie to say something really sexist that gets him fired.

Scarlett Johansson engaged
QUOTE (Brian @ May 6, 2008 -> 12:16 AM) First Alba gets knocked up, and now this. Ryan Reynolds seems like a decent guy though. Van Wilder is only the coolest f***ing man on the planet.

Maybe after the road trip is over, we'll see Owens or Wise or Fields called up, and Ramirez/Ozuna sent down.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2008 -> 01:15 AM) Yeah, those 2 games Joe has missed this season have just crushed us. They've talked all season about resting Crede once every week. Between that and having no righty pop on the bench, the sooner roster moves are made, the better.

There's our first Cy McGowan mention. It really baffles me how Greg Walker can keep his job.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2008 -> 12:13 AM) Ryan Dempster's BABIP wasn't staying at .190 forever. He's actually pitched well...the defense behind him has killed him. Of course, I would dominate with this umpire also.

Good things Fields is in AAA.

QUOTE (Soxguy @ May 6, 2008 -> 01:05 AM) what happened? About two rows from leaving the stadium in right center field. Had to be at least 475 feet.

Adam Dunn just hit a very cheap homer.
