White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/13/07 (L)
PK is awesome right now. Wow....what a pathetic effort by Dye that at-bat. He can't get off this team soon enough.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/13/07 (L)
By my calculations, if this score holds up, we'll be 3-10 this year when Hall started.

Wow....Patterson is destroying Buehrle. I'd love to know what our record is with Toby catching this year.

Terrero has 32 K's in 101 at-bats

Just let Toby get the labrum surgery. He's swinging at like 50 pct these days.

Mark Cuban + Chicago Cubs =
QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 13, 2007 -> 08:40 PM) Too bad, too, because as much as I despise the Cubs I've told my Cub fan co-worker for years: you guys need a Mark Cuban-like owner. You're right: Selig-zilla will never allow it to happen. And JR doesn't like him either. Cuban to the Cubs would be awful for the Sox.

Miscellaneous "White Sox" Trade Notes
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jul 13, 2007 -> 08:14 PM) Realistically, we need to take what we can get for Jose and may have to look at it more along the lines of a salary dump. There is no chance in hell of getting elite prospects for Jose. Can you imagine how lit up he could get if trade to Colorado? If you thought Sisco's line in Triple A last was ugly ... Disgusting stat I saw the other day that Contreras is 9-19 in his last 31 starts. Like everyone mentions, do what you have to in order to rid his salary.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Didn't see the game, but it's no shock that Day sucks. His slider is living proof for why you can't judge stupid tool rankings.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/12/07 (W)
Make sure you're not eating or drinking anything when you look at Sisco's performance tonight.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/12/07 (W)
QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jul 12, 2007 -> 11:39 PM) Then bring up Gio or Floyd? 4-1. Why does it seem like everytime the Sox get 1, 2, 3, 4, or however many runs in an inning, the pitching goes out and gives up 1 or 2 runs right back? Let's get 1 or 2 more here Who cares who you bring up....just don't ruin your best asset right now.

White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/12/07 (W)
Looks like Garland's picking up where he left off. If his shoulder's making him this ineffective, put him on the DL.
-
White Sox vs. Orioles, 7/12/07 (W)
I don't care if we win or lose, but this is a big start for Garland. All this talk about some shoulder problems will continue to get louder if he goes out and gets shelled again. That will only kill his trade value now or during the offseason.

Why can't we raid Pittsburgh ?
I'd rather have Xavier Nady, but he's doing too good for them right now to get him without overpaying.

Can Amy Jacobson really be THIS stupid...?
She was the reporter who seemed quite cozy (and intoxicated) with some of the Sox players during the World Series celebration in the clubhouse.

Floyd back to AAA
QUOTE(rock1735 @ Jul 10, 2007 -> 11:56 PM) Charlie Haeger was promoted. Cool, I like the new look he'll give us.

Eric Byrnes
Byrnes has gone from overrated to underrated....but I don't see him coming here.

Mariners looking to lock up Ichiro long-term
I gave up any hope on Ichiro when he had negative things to say about the weather in Cleveland. At least this will stop people from saying we need to keep Iguchi around in order to attract Ichiro. And BTW, I hate saying this in here, but Steve Phillips thinks we'll be a major competitor for ARod.
-
Floyd back to AAA
My prediction is either Aardsma or Richar.

Floyd back to AAA
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 10, 2007 -> 05:38 PM) It may not be a recall - may be an activation from DL. Pods and Erstad aren't ready to come off. It better not be Aardsma again.
-
Floyd back to AAA
Floyd was sent down to AAA, which means there won't be a trade made in the immediate future. I'm not sure who was promoted.
-
Aaron Rowand
He'll be with the White Sox next year.

For my first post,I'll play GM. 3 trades i'd like to see and w
Put down the XBox...we'd get half of the package, in terms of value, for the guys we'd be trading. Welcome to the site though.

Mark Buehrle Agrees to 4-yr, 56 mil with escalator clause
QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 09:36 PM) I agree, you maybe right, but this team is going nowhere this year, why not maximize the return and trade him now? Because KW and Ozzie honestly believe this team could put up a big 2nd half.

Hunter Ponders Future With Sox
The Sox will sign a CF this offseason before giving Anderson a chance.

Mark Buehrle Agrees to 4-yr, 56 mil with escalator clause
QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 09:31 PM) agreed, but you know something is coming. has too. I think it's more likely it would be Contreras in the next few weeks, and then Garland during the offseason. QUOTE(Nokona @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 09:33 PM) What'd Phillips do? Asking KW about Buehrle possibly being traded just as the bottom line thing keeps saying Buehrle has agreed to an extension.
