Could have sworn it went off his glove...
It's because he missed it. No one flat out missed that fly ball on the Sox, as no one attempted to go after it.

Thats BS, you dont have to touch it.
On a pop up in that situation, it's called a hit 100 pct of the time.

They better go back and correct that s***. Danks doesnt deserve 4ER, that is terrible scorekeeping
It's the proper call according to the rules.

WTF are you talking about? That was all Uribe's fault.
With as long as that ball was in the air, that has to be an outfielder taking charge. If that was Anderson in CF, I'm sure there would be blame put on him for not taking over.
Well, we deserve to lose this game. What a f***ing disgrace this outfield defense is.

When he's been healthy, he's hit. Erstad doesn't look that horrible. Look at some of Crede's, Dye's and Paulie's swings. If you think they'll snap out of it, Darrin should as well.
When did he hit well?
Honest question here: since the 4th game of the season, has anyone ever seen a more pathetic stretch of hitting from one player than we've seen from Erstad?

fathom,
I'm looking at the Tigers lineup and they're older than we are. Not that I think it matters much, but I've gathered you think age is an issue for the Sox.
It's not just age....there's the fact that the Sox have no hitters on the team who you expect to be with them in the next 5 years or so. The Tigers have Granderson at least. The Tigers do have an old offense....it's too bad they fleeced NY with the Sheffield trade.
3 infield pop ups so far.
