Quite the break there. Need our middle guys to get Ozuna in.

Ryan Theriot is the toughest out in Chicago right now....quite sad.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ May 9, 2007 -> 01:26 AM) Good lord. Theres Dye running in molasses again. He really should be DH with Mackowiak in RF, but Ozzie would never do that to a veteran player. I have a feeling that when we have new RF next year, there will be many comments like "Dye would have never caught that". The Tigers offense is going to be fantastic this year. Between them and the Indians, they make us look like an NL team.

QUOTE(TheOcho @ May 9, 2007 -> 01:25 AM) Was that dive in slow motion? Everything about Dye is in slow motion now, including his swing.

Ah, nice quicksand out in right field. Can't we just flip Dye and Sweeney?

I always thought Redmond had one of the worst catching arms.

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 9, 2007 -> 01:21 AM) pitches make our hitters look stupid.

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 9, 2007 -> 01:21 AM) Terrible jump from Sweeney. He didn't even enter the picture when the ball reached second base. I know he has better speed than that. We prepare our players so well.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ May 9, 2007 -> 01:20 AM) This team can't do anything right, can they? We pitch well enough to stay in games, but that makes the lack of offense even more obvious.

We suck

Oh STFU Hawk. The strike zone had nothing to do with Cintron's terrible ABs.

This is embarrassing.

Did Walker even tell these hitters that Bonser has an offspeed pitch?

White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
I'd like to find a 2nd baseman with a little more speed who can hit LHP. Boof seems to have a bigger zone than Vazquez tonight.

Nicely done by Vazquez.

White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
The worst thing is we have to deal with Hawk's praise of Walker all the time now. The results this year speak for themselves. I'll be pleasantly shocked if Vazquez gives up no runs this inning.

No one looks worse against hanging offspeed pitches than Iguchi. I really hope we get a new 2nd baseman this offseason.
-
White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
Iguchi is the last man we want up there with RISP.

Way to protect AJ....yuck.

White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
PK drops the head of the bat on that one. Get him in AJP.
-
White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
Mercy, these middle of the order guys have no bat speed.
-
White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
Hell, put on the hit-and-run with Dye up.
-
White Sox vs. Twins, 5/8/07 (L)
Much better turn by Iguchi.

Have we ever had four straight hitters in our lineup with less power than Cintron, Sweeney, Erstad, and Ozuna?

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ May 9, 2007 -> 12:52 AM) He has to be hurt. I know he had elbow surgery this off-season. This offense has been bad, and Cintron has never been a "quality" bat, but some of the swings from him have been embarrassing. Something can't be right with him. There's no strength in his swing. It's not a stretch to say he's only hit one ball over 200 feet this year.
