  1. Anderson is back to pushing his bat through the zone again. He was doing that earlier in the year, and he was allergic to hitting the ball hard then. We have a MASSIVE hole in CF right now.
  2. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 04:02 AM) What happened to our offense? They're tired from being out on the field for so long.
  3. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 04:01 AM) which is bulls*** unless he said something like "well, f*** your mother" Trust me, it was a "suicide" mission by Ozzie. He knew he was getting tossed the second he went out there.
  4. A homer by the Sox here would do wonders for the momentum.
  5. QUOTE(GoRowand33 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:58 AM) asking again, can I have a summary of that inning A routine 1-2-3-4-5 inning.
  6. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:57 AM) It looked like Abrue's hand was going to the bagt, but PK's foot blocked it. Then PK hit the bag before Abrue tagged it. It was close. Cooper probably was focused on PK's foot, and once he saw he was off the bad, he probably assumed Abreu had touched the base.
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:56 AM) My favorite Eric Cooper blunder was the home run that Joe Crede hit in Baltimore, up about 10 rows, over about 30 feet. Cooper called it foul. Manuel came out, didnt get tossed, and the whitesox wound up losing that by a run or 2. Yes, that was one of the worst calls I've ever seen.
  8. Someone could have made a lot of money betting that Ozzie would get tossed tonight. I love the decision he made to get tossed.
  9. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:55 AM) PK's foot blocked Abreu's hand from getting to the bag. He was out. You sure? It looked like PK never got to the bag. GREAT PITCH!
  10. Why is Hawk ripping the umpire still on a play he made the right call?
  11. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:53 AM) Eric Cooper is a mother f***ing piece of f***ing s***. f*** you, and I hope something s***s on you Eric Cooper. I hope you break your leg and never walk again, you piece of s***. Sorry, I need to rant every now and then. Classy He was safe. PK was off the bag.
  12. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:49 AM) Let's go Mr Not a Cy Young If he gives up the lead, Ozzie might just release him after this game.
  13. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:48 AM) B-MAC TO THE RESCUE, HOORAY B-MAC!!! And right in time for a terrible situation. Cotts should be in mop-up duty only now...and that's been obvious for two weeks.
  14. Even Hawk knows that Cotts struggles against lefties. Way to bring in our worst reliever Ozzie.
  15. He keeps hanging that slider. Maybe I see why he's sticking with the fastball.
  16. The go-ahead run will be up to the plate soon.
  17. Cotts with one of the most deceptive ERAs I've seen in a long time.
  18. Throw strikes! These guys aren't going to chase his wild stuff.
  19. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:42 AM) He does have another pitch, I hear. Wasn't he voted as having the best changeup in AA?
  20. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:42 AM) 1st pitch fastball, 2nd pitch fastball, 3rd pitch fastball 4th pitch hanging slider....but at least he got away with it.
  21. 1st pitch fastball, 2nd pitch fastball, 3rd pitch fastball
  22. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:40 AM) This team needs Cotts to get right again. Let's hope he can do it tonite. With the patience of the Yankees hitters, and this strike zone, it's going to be hard.
  23. Looks like we're going to see Cotts. Nothing like bringing in our worst reliever to face the top of their order.
  24. QUOTE(Friend of Nordhagen @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:39 AM) That's right. It's nights like tonight that make Javier possible. Or re-signing PK and the eventually long-term deal to Crede.
