Just a brutal start for Garland so far. He needs a double play drastically.

Can we have a mulligan? It's amazing how easily teams circle the bases on us. Garland's about to put us in a huge hole, and it all started cause he made a terrible 0-2 pitch to the leadoff hitter.

Wow do we look slow out there. Someone please explain to me why the SS is covering 2nd base on an inside fastball? That's BAD baseball.

Some more terrible base running by the Sox. Cora can't keep waving these guys, and then hold them at the last second. How are we not able to score from 2nd on a 2 out hit?

It would be great to get a 2 out RBI early in the game. This guy is definitely not overpowering.

So far, he looks like a Sox pitching prospect. His fastball is in the high 80s, and he hasn't shown control of his curve. He seems to have some sinking action on his fastball. Hopefully our hitters go with some of the pitches to the opposite field.

If the Sox gave up the aforementioned players, would it be enough to get Crawford? Could they also get another minor-leaguer in the deal as well? This would be a tremendous upgrade for the Sox. It also allows the team to set up their rotation w/ Mac in it. Crawford is very young, and I believe his best years are in front of him w/ a new team. Tampa would hang up the phone and probably never talk to KW again. The last thing Tampa wants is an overpriced pitcher like Vazquez, a medicore outfielder, and an aging corner infielder prospect. If we wanted Crawford, we'd have to start with a package like McCarthy, Fields, and Tracey. Tampa doesn't need to add any speed...they have plenty with Baldelli, Upton, and Young in their system.
