Why do people think we'd get more for Fields than just Linebrink?

If they offered Crisp for Garcia or Vaz, you do that deal in a second. Crisp is a very tough out, and he'd add a lot of speed to our team.

The only reason I'd be interested in Tejada is that he has 3 years left on his deal at a reasonable price. However, I haven't heard any rumors about the Sox being interested, so it's likely a long shot.

I'm a little nervous in this thread....it's 3 admins and a mod.

Didn't he say the Sox were trying to get Dmitri Young last year? He's very well connected, and his information seems a little more "insider" than some of the ESPN guys.
