  1. Hey Ozzie....while you're out there, put Anderson in the f***ing game. Jenks vs Kendall is a terrible match-up.
  2. Wow...very good play by Ozuna. That had all the makings of trouble.
  3. And that's the A's vs Sox. HEY OZZIE....GET ANDERSON IN THE f***ING GAME!
  4. DJ's just begging for the jinx.
  5. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 25, 2006 -> 02:11 AM) If Frank hits the rest of the year, the way he has against us this series, he may have a decent year. Unfortunately, he will only see Jon Garland once or twice more this year. Most teams know not to throw inside to him in every AB.
  6. BTW....Anderson should be in the game in CF.
  7. Here comes power on power.
  8. Ugh...that sucked. And just like that, the tying run is on base.
  9. QUOTE(daa84 @ May 25, 2006 -> 02:07 AM) he got squeezed last night vs. thomas....alot of sliders that were close didnt get called. That's true...but both of the strikes he got were borderline. His slider wasn't sharp at all last night. Lets hope he has better stuff tonight. This is the only batter he'll face.
  10. Cliff could have caught that ball. I don't get having Thornton up in the pen, but not bringing him in for the lefty.
  11. Very important out...don't want Chavez up as tying run.
  12. If Politte comes in to face Crosby, Chavez, and Thomas....well, I hope he gets Crosby out.
  13. Good catch by Pods. Kotsay was very dangerous in that AB. Anyone having to follow this thread for PBP probably thought something really bad happened due to posts 466-468.
  14. Kotsay's always been tough vs Buehrle.
  15. Great play by Crede. He did a tremendous job of setting himself, and making a GREAT throw.
  16. I'm surprised Kielty wasn't cheating more for the inside fastball. Thankfully, Buehrle got it in far enough.
  17. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:46 AM) jeez, kendall He's a tough out, especially against a soft-tossing pitcher where he can adjust his swing on the fly.
  18. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:44 AM) The Entire Polish connection is in the line up tonight: Pods, Konerko, AJ, and Mack If only Contreras was pitching.
  19. Keep it going Rob! As I said all offseason....he's as streaky of a player as there gets in baseball. Is this the time to bring in Anderson for defense though?
  20. QUOTE(Reddy @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:41 AM) i'm pretty sure this group is gonna make it stressful as well Considering our relievers from the 7th inning on were basically automatic all season at home, I didn't recall the games being overly stressful until the last 40 games of the season.
  21. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:38 AM) That's what I am f***ign thinking. These guys have not had a real pitcher in 5 years why do they just keep recycling this useless crap like Runelvys and Gobble? Cause they're cheap
  22. Question....how does the Duque trade make its way on to the main page on yahoo.com?
  23. I can't believe Hawk just said this is a more fun team to watch than the 2005 team that won the World Series and led from wire to wire. I actually think the talent on this year's team is better....but I was surprised at the comment.
  24. BTW...I don't know if anyone saw this, but Broadway was mentioned by Gammons as one of the 10 starting pitchers in the minors that could possibly come up and contribute this season, if needed.
  25. Buehrle with some real good location/crispness that inning.
