Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Give Garcia two more batters, and if he can't get them out, bring in Cotts.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Well, if that run comes back to hurt us, we don't deserve to win this game.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:53 AM) Tad having problems picking up yan obviously. At least he hit that rocket against him in extra innings to win a game during the regular season.

Why are we debating this? It's Ozzie and Garcia....YOU BET YOUR ASS HE'S STAYING IN THE GAME!

QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:46 AM) great performance tonight by Freddy I love how our pitchers are challenging them when the hitter has 3 balls in the count. Make them beat us with the bats! Well done Garcia!

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:45 AM) Well you want to find something to b**** about all the time. I don't. I guess thats the difference. No, I just don't see everything with White Sox goggles on. Iguchi knows better than to be that far away from the base. Any umpire in baseball would have called that play in that situation.

NO WALKS!

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:43 AM) His left foot was right by it I disagree. There was a lot of dirt between the base and his feet.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:43 AM) Poor effort? That call is always given. poor effort? Just stupid. Effort had nothing to do with that. HE WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO THE BASE! He didn't even make the typical effort of bringing your foot back after you catch it. Personally, I'm happy they called that.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:42 AM) I have no problem with it. I would have been a lot more pissed if he was actually anywhere close to the base.

Pretty poor effort by Iguchi. Good thing he got the guy out at first.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Haha, there's a make-up call. Ozzie should just sit in the dugout. That call was right.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:39 AM) Whether they bring anyone in or not, I just hope they totally shut them down and keep them demoralized. Scoring a few runs the last couple innings may put their minds in a better place tomorrow. Kick em while they're down. We just need to win the game. I understand what you're saying, but I have a feeling the Angels will play with a huge chip on their shoulder tomorrow no matter what happens these last 2 innings.

Why are we worried about getting Marte and Viz work? It's just as important to have Cotts and Jenks get into this game.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:36 AM) Should have pinch run with Ozuna. I can't tell if you're serious or not.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:35 AM) Probably not. EDIT: I'm on my game today. Me too. I completely gave up all hope that USC was going to convert the late 4th down against ND today.

CREDE!! Way to stay with the splitter, and prove me wrong.

We're not scoring, are we?

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Is there any reason not to have someone run for Everett?
-
Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Wow, that was ugly!
-
Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
We need AJP to get the runner in, and not put Crede in a tougher situation. This is deja-vu from last night almost.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Good hit by Rowand. Everett looked like he busted a tire going into 3rd. Ozuna should be in to run for Everett. And yes, I know I wasn't the only one praying for Cora to hold up Everett.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 02:20 AM) I think we're complaining more about the eventual complaining that will start after the game. That's why we just have to win this f'n game, and worry about that stuff tomorrow.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Why are we complaining about the calls so much? They missed some of them, but that happens a lot in baseball. Umps very rarely call a guy out in that Pods situation from this inning. We just have to make sure we capitalize on these breaks, and win this f***ing game.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 4
Umpires never call the guy out if he beats the ball by so much.
