Something I've noticed with Dye is that he seems to be taking a ton of first pitch fastballs right down the plate for strikes. Then, when he gets to two strikes, he's showing no patience and swinging at sliders that are well off the plate. He's not giving himself a real good chance to have a quality at-bat.

Ozzie was going to start Ozuna tomorrow anyways, but boy did he earn that start today! That squibber by Sweeney was a very tough play, and he made a perfect throw to Shingo covering. I like Ozuna as a QB better than Orton already.

Pena should have never, ever left Sisco in to face Rowand. Rowand is so much more dangerous against lhp than he is rhp.

Just amazing. How the hell did we win that game?

Crede actually had better swings today than he did in a lot of the games in which he had hits during the streak. I'm very encouraged.

We had some very slow players in our starting lineup today!

I say let Shingo get the first two hitters next inning, and if he's in trouble, bring in Marte to face Stairs.

Great inning by Vizcaino there. I think that's the first 1-2-3 inning of the game for Sox pitchers.

Vizcaino is in. Must mean Hermanson's back is still bothering him.

If healthy, Hermanson should come in here. If he isn't, Vizcaino might get the 8th inning.

PABLO! Stupid play by Rowand there, but a great comeback that inning.

I'd just like to say thank you for having a lefty pitch against Rowand. He's the one guy on our team who can really rake against lhp.

Rowand takes a great pitch to hit also. A lot of our guys seem in-between swinging and taking.

Dye had a great, great pitch to hit on the 2-1 there. Why does every single Sox hitter chase a bad slider when they get to 2 strikes?

Sisco coming in. I imagine Dye will hit for Gload here.

Need Konerko to launch one here. Not sure about Camp's ability to hold on runners, but Willie needs to be able to break up a double play ball.
