  1. Great, now Chavez makes an out!
  2. Willie Harris is an absolute mental dumbass. He tries to act like hot s***, but when he's between the lines, he has his head up his ass.
  3. I'd rather see Chris Widger as a reliever than Harris playing SS. The funny thing is that I guarantee you that he would have thrown that ball away trying to get Durazo at 1b.
  4. Unreal. We better call up a SS immediately if Ozuna and Uribe can't go tomorrow. I almost feel bad for Willie, he shouldn't be playing SS in the majors.
  5. QUOTE(whitesoxeducator @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:52 AM) what a cunundrum we got here: sox lose- all ozzies fault sox win- still ozzies fault since we barely won I like to think of it as winning despite Ozzie. I don't think any of us would be complaining on here if he let Vizcaino or Marte start the 7th inning.
  6. This is honestly funny when you think about it. After all the breaks we've made and created this season, to have nearly everything go wrong that possibly can is very ironic.
  7. Oh my god Dye! That's absolutely pathetic.
  8. That's a tremendous 3-2 pitch.
  9. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:42 AM) Froemming or whatever has been absolute s*** behind home plate tonight. f***ing terrible job. What did he mess up that inning? That pitch to Rowand was a strike, and a great pitch to hit. Rowand out-guessed himself.
  10. Wow, right there for Rowand to hammer!
  11. Nice swing by Dye there. It would be great if he started going the opposite way down in the count like he always seemed to do against us in the past.
  12. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:37 AM) You would be b****ing if the Sox were 20-0 right now. :headshake Don't you have Ozuna to promote some more? I don't want to make this a pissing contest, but you've sure been quiet tonight compared to last night when Ozuna was doing good.
  13. QUOTE(whitesoxeducator @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:34 AM) im sure you all could do a better job than ozzie, so why are you all here? don't you people have 31 other teams to coach? No offense, but that's the lamest f***ing comeback in these types of arguments. I guarantee you that there'are a TON of people that could do a better job than a lot of the managers in MLB. If you honestly think that letting Buehrle start that inning against two righties was a smart decision, then I don't know what to say.
  14. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:32 AM) Did you even see the play? Hatteberg stepped out of the box. It was a horrible call by the ump. :rolly Umpire didn't call timeout. If he did, then it would have been a terrible call. However, just cause a player steps out, doesn't mean you can break your hands like that from the stretch.
  15. QUOTE(rcpweiner @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:31 AM) This is a joke, right? I mean ... it seems like you're blaming the balk on Ozzie ... No, I'm blaming Ozzie for letting Buehrle start that inning when he had been lucky to survive 5 innings in this game.
  16. QUOTE(thomsonmi @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:29 AM) I'm sorry but given the way we are playing as a team I find that opinion moronic. You have a right to that opinion but I also have a right to think your opinion is stupid. We've gone from a station to station team with bad pitching and poor defense to the complete opposite and so far so good. And, clearly Ozzie was the guy pushing for the change. And, every game there is situation after situation like runners moving with the count full and one out, hit and run plays, and various things. Here's the one thing I want to see from my manager on a consistent basis: Put the team in the best chance to succeed that game. Yes, there will be games where the other team hits a big 3 run homer or the other pitcher throws a gem. However, I do have a problem with the manager obviously lets his team down with his decisions on lineups and pitching strategies/bullpen use.
  17. Marte did balk. Great f***ing job Ozzie.
  18. Another f***ing balk. Third time now. You have to be f***ing careful in those situations.
  19. Yes, Harris is in at SS. Ozuna must still be in pain.
  20. Interesting decision by Ozzie to bring in a lefty to face Kielty. Kielty is rakes lefty pitching, but sucks vs rhp.
  21. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Apr 27, 2005 -> 04:23 AM) f*** You Ozzie, I'm tired of your stupid decisions Ozzie was playing this like we had a 5 run lead. The funny thing is that everyone in the world could see that Buehrle was finished besides for the one person who gets paid to make those decisions.
  22. Why not bring in Marte to face Chavez before?
  23. Great job Ozzie. It's the 7th inning, pull a pitcher after they allow 2 straight hits.
  24. With 2 righties starting the inning, maybe should have let a reliever start the inning. Byrnes is 5 times a better hitter vs lefties.
