  1. Very nice right there! We should do that more with Iguchi....he has a great swing to the opposite field.
  2. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 11:53 PM) Interesting -- the Sox as a team have drawn ten walks in just under 70 innings at the plate... Good stat, I was hoping someone woudl bring it up. I'm very happy with our record right now, but I'm very concerned with our offense. Too many guys are just easy outs compared with other players at their position.
  3. Hawk blames the wildness by Contreras for the reason he allowed runs, but it was his inability to get out the Indians number 9 hitter which accounted for the first of two, 2-out hits.
  4. Wow, I was going to say something about A.J. having his head up his ass tonight....and then that s*** happened. This has been an absolutely pathetic display of intensity so far.....we're lucky it's only 3-0 right now.
  5. Wow, that was a terrible throw by Dye. Even a decent throw would have had Boone out easily at home.
  6. Contreras's arm angle is awful on his pitches right now. It's simply mind-boggling how he can't remain consistent.
  7. Since about the 3rd inning of the Sunday Twins game, our hitters look very lethargic at the plate.
  8. Why in the world would you underhand that ball to Contreras? You have to slide and throw the ball in that situation.
  9. Why are we playing infield in, in the first inning, against a pitcher that we've rocked the last few times we've faced him? f***ing A.J., terrible play there.
  10. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) What did Rowand hit in the leadoff spot last year? Batting leadoff last year, Rowand batted .319 with an OPS of .976. Batting 2nd, he hit .326 with an OPS of .837.
  11. What did Hawk say about the wind? Is it blowing in or out?
  12. Coco looks like an absolute idiot out there with his hair/hat the way he has it.
  13. If we're going to play Ozuna, he probably shouldn't be leading off. Against a lhp, no reason for Rowand to not be batting in the top 3.
  14. After Podsednik scored earlier in the game, I saw him talking to the trainer. Considering he stayed in the game a few more innings and got that hit, I would expect it's nothing serious.
  15. Hermanson would be the closer today, I'd almost guarantee it.
  16. There we go! Great swing by Podsednik there.
  17. Good at-bat by Crede. Huge opportunity here for Podsednik.
  18. QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) It's gonna be a long year in this division if we can't touch Millwood. I guess this dispells all of your assumptions that Millwood sucks. I don't like him, but I don't think he's that bad. I wouldn't be too worried about it yet. This is the worst lineup we'll field all year. Also, the hitting conditions today aren't exactly ideal (even though it's saved Garcia about 3 runs).
  19. That was a terrible f***ing at-bat by Crede. This team is playing with no energy at all today. Corpseball is back!
  20. Count me in as someone not too impressed with our managerial decisions today. From the lineup to the in-game strategy...it's been pretty poor. By the way, Ozuna can't come close to touching a good fastball.
  21. Ouch.....let's hope that's not broken.
  22. Is Ozzie expecting too much out of a career minor leaguer in Ozuna? Playing LF one game, and then SS the next isn't exactly like going from 2b to SS every other game like Uribe did last year.
  23. Garcia just doesn't seem to have good stuff. His fastball lacks zip, and he doesn't seem to be fooling a lot of hitters.
  24. Honestly, where does this 7-8-9 in the Sox lineup rank with the worst ever in Sox history? Widger's a terrible player.....I'll never understand why he made the team.
