What really sucks is the boring ass Guardians are going to get a first round bye.

The actual order doesn’t matter now. Too many guys are struggling.

They’re very easy to pitch to now. Fastballs away with RISP, slow stuff low and away. Benintendi hasn’t seen a changeup he won’t swing at out of the zone.

Castillo next year reminds me of Keuchel’s last year. Makes too much to DFA in offseason, but you know it’s going to be a disaster and they eventually cut him around the 10 start mark.

Who knows, but I wasn’t impressed with his demeanor at all in that Sox prospects show last year. Basically the anti-Wolkow.

Yeah hurting the team this year AND next year’s roster/payroll is worst case scenario. Make no mistake, the deadline couldn’t have gone worse.

Just put Grichuk full time in RF. Beni DH vs righties, Bonemer or Quero vs LHP.

Can we get Pablo Torres on this? Would be a shame if JR got in trouble.

It’s going to be very hard for Getz to rebuild the momentum from the disaster of the last two months. I’m sure he’s not going to love increased attention to the Shirley debacle once there are no more Sox games to cover. Huge failure in character judgment.

Feels like every error he’s made has led to a loss

Can’t believe he didn’t play today

Swinging straight up when a single ties the game just illustrates what’s gone wrong

Sweet, can’t wait for fluff articles about how they will fix Castillo and believe in Mune.

How do you not give Bonemer a try? Do we really still need to see Colson or Mune every game?

Just want to say this is another game where the deadline guys were of negative value.

Cardinals another team, like the Pirates, who looked like the better team. This Sox team is just bad now.

The hitting coaches inability to get Colson to drive the ball to all fields just sucks

Hard to do when the manager seems as nervous as the players

What a fucking losing baseball player. Trade his ass in a month.

Get closer to the fucking plate

He hasn’t homered in a long time

We are so bad at challenging

If he’s a bust, then fire Shirley!

And that’s what sucks so much about all this. Who can you really rely upon to be a strong contributor the next few years? DickAllen said it perfectly, things would seem a lot better if the first half and second half were flipped.

Hard to score when almost everyone is in a massive slump. Also, no inside info or anything, but I bet we hear Vargas is hurt after the season ends. His swing looks nowhere near as powerful as earlier in the year.
