Pulled him two batters too late.

Which is why it was so insane to put him at 3B a few weeks ago. They’re doing the same with Bonemer now which makes no sense to me either.

MAT playing every day for another month won’t be fun

I don’t see how he returns in a month

Pick up the option and then include half of it in a trade for a good prospect package

I don’t think people realize how well his defense is grading out

I think this makes the decision easier in their mind to trade him this offseason.

Sad thing is he fielded such a bad bullpen, he wasn’t able to trade any of them for assets.
