Dalquist having a nice start to the year. Still only 24. Pallette unfortunately struggling. Saw Keone Kela attempting a comeback? 32 years old. Sometimes mlb veterans still chasing the dream can be good mentors or examples of professionalism for the youngsters.

In this draft probably a lot of “deals” get done. Maybe by the draft, boards/rankings get more solidified? This could make 5 years in a row under slot. I still want 1-1 next year, more so now.

Not sure how long it has been working but in the game threads, the mlb score link now has some of the secondary links working. Top 100 takes you to top 100 players stats but from there hit the Sox logo and you get stats for Sox top 30. Similarly the draft stats takes you to last year’s draft picks, where under teams you can select Sox and our class comes up. You can then select draft classes by year. Kind of nice to see what levels draft classes are at. Wish they had the player’s age listed but overall pretty cool. Definitely see 2024 draft of more patient hitters. At A ball, guys are running like crazy. Probably a reflection of catching quality and less experienced pitchers.

Beard was from Mississippi where there was concern about his competition. Think Alabama is better and Hewitt-Trussville is 7A classification. Not sure what summer circuits etc the kid has appeared at for further evaluation.
