  1. McClure is going to be Rule 5 eligible if not on 40 man. We really need some of the Rule 5 eligible guys to excel in the second half to either enhance trade value or make the decisions easier. With the farm system talent in the lower quarter/third in baseball, it is going to be important to make the right decisions and not lose a useful player. I consider useful to not only be a Sox major leaguer but also a trade chip. As an example, Burger may be blocked to a degree at MLB level but his performance has certainly enhanced his value to where he is potentially tradeable.

  4. I’m wondering if the Madrigal trade moved him to Cubs lost value which obviously would be an error.
  5. Tried to get excited about Cuevas LHP then I saw he was 22
  6. Just ACL DSL games https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=08/02/2021
  7. Yep. It was thought up at night following a shitty loss where our worst bat hit three homers and we still lost. Tried to capture Yermin mania with anti Tony. Just trying to get a chuckle after the debacle.
  8. I am an optimist LOL. It does help during dark times though.
  9. White Sox star Seby Zavala announced his retirement today. He completed a 14 year career all spent with the Pale Hose. During that time the fan favorite was a two time league MVP, World Series MVP, 7 time gold glove winner and 5 time all star. Zavala amassed 237 HR and 895 RBI in his career. Typically down playing personal accomplishments, Zavala said he was most proud of his team winning three World Series titles during the 2020s. He took over as the Sox primary catcher following Yasmani Grandal. He became a fan favorite on the night he hit his first three home runs in the same game. Always crediting others, he credits Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa with igniting his career, " I remember being pinch hit for with a 2-0 count and thinking never again" the player said. His statue was unveiled this week during the teams final home stand of the year..................
  10. Bilous is looking interesting. 23 at AA. Progression of his strikeout and walk rates in his career very impressive. K rate has at least doubled while walks cut in half while advancing up the ladder.
  11. Hello August! Some guys in minors beginning to get hot or hopefully adjusting to their higher levels. Top 30 will be interesting. Early on you couldn't get there by performance. The draft definitely helped as I bet there will be several included sight unseen. https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=08/01/2021 https://www.milb.com/scores/chicago-white-sox/2021-08-01
  12. Believe I saw something about his wrist bothering him
  13. I will miss him and hate seeing him on the Cubs. I still think his abilities scream a two hole hitter slapping the ball in the hole when a man is aboard. Think he can contend for batting titles. Didn't see the GG defense though he was getting better and he ran into to many outs but very much liked his contact ability. I have grown tired of the strikeouts which occur in horrible situational baseball settings.
  14. Sorry couldn't find a way to contact as I dont twitter/facebook etc. I know you normally do the prospect profiles after the trade deadline which is awesome. I think you normally do include 40 man status and I have analyzed it in the past but maybe a little extra from y'all the experts would be great. I know some specific issues like Micker exist where it is MLB or waivers next year not just 40 man. Thanks in advance.

  17. This shows getting Leury back to a super sub role has value. Guys have played with stuff due to all the other guys out. Do that long enough and little things often become much bigger.
  18. https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=07/29/2021 https://www.milb.com/scores/chicago-white-sox/2021-07-29 Lots of games today. I was going to note this may be the last we see several names in our box scores either via trades or new draftees causing other guys release. I try to remember the human side and that for some it is a new opportunity and others it is the end of their dream. Good luck Conner except against the Sox!
  19. Story has a terrible ops over the last month of .579. I would bet no one is offering better than what the qualifying offer might bring so they might keep him. Heck if he finishes like this you may not give qualifying offer for fear he takes it.
  20. And you may understand already but the stronger throwing arm being in RF relates to potentially having to make a throw to third. The throw to third from RF much greater distance than from left. If the fielder in right has a poor arm, doubles could become triples.
  21. https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=07/28/2021 https://www.milb.com/scores/chicago-white-sox/2021-07-28 Lambert for AAA. Hopefully Robert plays for them also.
