I wondered if a lot of promotions were in part because of ACL promotions and signings. Will they do an orientation camp for signees or straight to affiliates?

The Getz regime clearly prefers hitters that will work at bats and take their walks. Sosa walks at 2.7%. His best minors rate is about 5.5% which is well below a 10% preferred rate. If he got to 5.5 % his ops+ is closer to 110 which could work. He has always struggled at a level then improved. League average to slightly better is nothing to throw/give away. He is 25 years old so still time to improve with all facets of his game. He plays winterball. Wonder if he should try outfield then to further the utility profile

Little odd no left-handed pitchers

One thing that doesn't get mentioned enough is the Sox started the season with Shingo Takatsu as closer who got released and replaced by Dustin Hermanson. Hermanson had 34 saves but wore out/injured around mid Aug. Jenks came up from AA in July. Only had six regular season saves. Not sure many modern era teams went through three primary closers in a championship season.

on 6/24 Kannapolis Cannon Ballers activated SS Alexander Albertus from the 7-day injured list. This was after a rehab stint in ACL. He hasn't played yet in two plus weeks. Anyone know anything?
