Konerko was in the 2002 Home Run Derby, what did he do after the All-Star Break? He batted .230, and he actually said that the Home Run Derby messed up his swing. Maybe it only messes him up.

Why would you even want konerko in the Homerun Derby anyway? All it does is mess up your swing.

Even if Konerko could replace Junior in the Home Run Derby, which he can't, why would you want him to.

There's no way in hell Atlanta will trade Russ Ortiz or Andrew Jones, they will not give up on this season, they want to keep their division winning streak alive.

I don't like Preston Wilson, he only became a great hitter when he joined the Rockies. The thin Coors air helps him out a lot, when he was on florida he didnt hit like he does now. Remember what Jay Payton did last year with the rockies, and what he's doing now with the Padres, Coors field can make a mediocre hitter into a great one. ie Royce Clayton is batting .293 for the Rockies right now, need i say more.

It's about time the sox started marketing Frank, He's arguably the best White Sock of all time and he's spent his whole damn career here. I was talken to a cub fan the other day he didn't even know Frank spent his whole career here. Frank Thomas is not widely known to the common fan.

We already tried to trade for Nomah in spring training, i don't think KW will even think of going after him again. Besides we already have Jose who's actually better than Nomah.

Ever since he was in High School he was overrated. He tricked the Padres into taking him way to early in the draft. Then when he made it to the majors he did absolutely nothing. They had to ship off thier "Catcher of the future" to Seattle for nothing, because they couldn't afford him. When he was in Seattle he was always calling out coaches and teammates, and not doing anything on the field, he's just not the kind of guy you want on your team.

Just imagine if we did trade JB and he ended up being a superstar, after all this waiting for his ass to come around, start hitting and stop striking out and we end up trading him and he becomes good. With the sox luck that probably would happen.
