  1. So it was effectively left up to Rojas whether or not the Marlins would play on Sunday and he tests positive 2 days later. Real bang up job, everyone.
  2. Even if you relocate the games who the hell wants to play a Marlin's team that's seeing multiple new positives every day? How could any opponent feel safe playing a team with an active outbreak? It's not just the players, the entire Marlins traveling party is a problem.
  3. I imagine they'll come to some compromise that gets the game played and doesn't look like Manfred caved. The Marlins could be playing road games for a bit, though Passen also noted; why would DC want the infected Marlins party in their city? Why would any city for that matter?
  4. Funny enough I think the Rays are the biggest offenders on homerun celebrations, they've hit a bunch of them against the Braves tonight and there's been plenty of grab-ass and jumping into each other.
  5. Watching games tonight doesn't look like anything's changed from a social distancing/contact perspective, still not utilizing the canopies that are up in the stands of every ballpark and plenty of contact on homerun celebrations. I noticed the Astros and Mets with contactless celebrations, otherwise it's the usual.
  6. So it sure seems like the decision for the Marlins to play yesterday was left up to Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas because there is zero leadership in baseball. https://www.inquirer.com/phillies/miami-marlins-coronavirus-outbreak-phillies-mlb-season-20200727.html
  7. Tell that to Eduardo Rodriguez
  8. That's the nail in the coffin right there, it was bound to happen but that was fast.
  9. ie the marlins, not good!
  10. i mean I wouldn't label it a lead pipe cinch as you did but yeah, that's the ticket, good to see you coming around
  11. I think we can all agree that bmags was right and he should feel good about being right. Congrats bmags
  12. Good to see Basabe's name popping up a decent amount in summer camp, he's still an interesting player.
  13. Bonus sleeveless Yasmani behind the plate.
  14. I'd watch just a shot of the field while they practice, just train a camera and stream it somewhere.
  15. You got it, he was with the team in spring training '07
