The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:26 PM) Fields pulled from the Charlotte game for a pinch runner. Wonder if he was traded.... I really don't think that's a sign of anything but i truely hope it is.

QUOTE(G&T @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:23 PM) They couldn't hit forever. Or maybe one of them could have come up with atleast a single in one of these clutch spots. I really don't think that's too much to ask.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:07 PM) DJ just said its a shame when you don't know the difference between Garcia's fastball and change-up. This is such a great broadcast by Hawk and DJ today. They've really gone away from the blatant homerism and thrown out some legit criticism to day.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
Well, Rock Raines is not Joe Nossek. I guess that's enough of a reason right there.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
I wonder if it's possible for me to hate the entire White Sox coaching staff.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
Atleast he managed to get a f***ing runner in unlike our #4 hitter.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks

I wonder if Garcia will pull a Todd Walker today and go back and watch the Sox Broadcast of he game.- KW speaks about rumors
I'd kill to see something like this on the wire tonight White Sox | Garcia Traded Sun, 16 Jul 2006 06:05:41 -0700 ESPN Radio and The Associated Press report the Chicago White Sox traded P Freddy Garcia and to the [iNSERT TEAM NAME] in exchange for P [iNSERT PLAYER NAME] and [POS] [iNSERT PLAYER NAME].- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) This is his best announcing game I can ever recall. Could not agree more, he's really tearing into the team today and it's good to hear.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) This is our 91st game of the season. So we still have 71 games to hit this elusive "rythym", yeah I'm sure it's just around the bend.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
We're what? 80 something games into the season and this team has supposedly not even hit it's "rythym" yet? If they havn't picked it up by now what makes you think they will at all, Hawk?- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:35 PM) Just have it ready. The Rally Seizure is always looming.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
Would anyone deal Fields to San Diego for Linebrink? It would bring the Sox a great righty setup man, get McCarthy into the rotation and would allow for the team to deal Garcia. It could be just the shakeup this team needs.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:32 PM) Where's that rally seizure when we need it? If Thome had done anything but struck out, the Rally Seizure would have made an appearance.- The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
This has worked in the past, hasn't it?- Sunday Yankees vs Whitesox 7/16/06 Gamethread
I'm really liking a trade of Fields to San Diego for Linebrink. I know the Pads are in first and all but I wonder if they'd possibly make such a move if it got them one of the best 3B prospects in baseball. The addition of Linebrink to the pen would allow for Bmac to enter the rotation after another move involving Garcia.- Sunday Yankees vs Whitesox 7/16/06 Gamethread
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:07 PM) He may be out of position, but he misses the simplest things. Corner outfielders have to catch flyballs too, you know, and one hit right at him that gets behind him? That's miserable. The ball is comming at you at a completely different angle in CF, especially the ones hit right at you. I would never stick Cintron in CF and expect him to be able to catch a linedrive hit right at him. You need to have had some experience at the position in order to catch a ball like that.- Sunday Yankees vs Whitesox 7/16/06 Gamethread
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:05 PM) I thought I heard somewhere it was a concious decision. It's possible the WBC had an effect, but that would have worn off by now. I just want him traded. Yeah, we've heard that a few times in some published reports but I'm not so sure I believe it. I would greatly appreciate the insight of the Sox' TV announcers but they refuse to give any. - The Sh*t Pitching Stops Here: Sox @ Yanks
