Just look at South Park. They started out with way less characters than the Simpsons so over the years they have had to add new characters in order to go along with new story lines.

Caruso with the Long Island Ducks:

I know Caruso sucked and only lasted 3 years in the majors but that rookie year I liked him. He was a little white guy who was pretty damn fast and just a very likeable guy. Last I saw of him he got released by the Long Island Ducks, sad.

Oh ya, and Caruso was a lefty not a switch hitter.

I haven't seen a Simpsons episode in like 3 years. They f***ing suck. I think the downfall was when they decided to kill off Maude Flanders. After that episode Homer started getting really f***ing stupid and the Simpsons made it a point to see how many stupid f***ing Guest Stars they could have on the show. The Simpson's suck now.
