    2011 TV Thread

    Watched Hell on Wheels on AMC show looks like it has potential. I loved Deadwood and miss a western on TV.
  2. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 9, 2011 -> 01:11 AM) I think the sad state of affairs is that anyone is concerned with Joe Paterno right now. It's only the #1 NCAA story on sports TV and radio, which this thread is NCAA Football.
  3. Joe Pa must go and him coming outside his house saying we are Penn St. and the idiots cheering him is a sad state of affairs in this world!
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 8, 2011 -> 11:30 PM) Awful, awful, awful, awful game. Wow. Embarrassing. They looked B.A.D.
  5. Trading GB with his value so low makes no sense.
  6. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 7, 2011 -> 11:55 PM) BEARS! Da Bears
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 7, 2011 -> 11:52 PM) These safeties are freaking awful, as is Roach. Safties are terrible they cannot cover or tackle typical Bears on Monday Night! I am so tired of Tirico's anti Bear announcing every f***ing time he does a game.
  8. Thome on a NL team makes no sense at all.
  9. Canucks already 4 of 5 on the power play it is going to be a long night If Hawk D does not improve.
  10. Same type of play as Illinois game 2 players fighting for ball in the air to the ground.................play was reviewed in 2 seconds and neither coach called a timeout. The ref that told Zook that play was not reviewable should NEVER be allowed to ref another Big Ten game. Defense have been great tonight.
  11. INDIANAPOLIS — A charity game involving NBA players scheduled for Sunday in New Castle, Ind., was canceled at the last minute because of the possibility that the lockout could end. A release from the event's organizers says many of the players scheduled to participate were advised to prepare for the NBA and the players' association reaching an agreement. The "King of the Castle" event was to pit the Knox Indy Pro-Am League stars against Mario Chalmers' Rio All-Stars. Washington's John Wall, Memphis' Zach Randolph and Los Angeles' Eric Gordon were on the list of expected participants. NBA owners and players negotiated with federal mediator George Cohen on Saturday, after the meeting Derek Fisher commented. Today was another sad day for our fans, for arena workers, our parking lot attendants, our vendors. Very frustrating, sad day," Fisher added. "We, for sure, unequivocally, made good faith efforts to try to get this deal done tonight. And we're at a loss for why we could not close it out." So much for fans and charity. I hardly think all I's will be dotted before Sunday is over
  12. If someone is going to overpay MB so be it, I do not want it to be the Sox.

  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 1, 2011 -> 09:29 AM) Something has to be wrong with Rivers. He has been so good the last three years and now he looks like a different player. I wonder if he has a injury, but it is something he can play with. Maybe it's bothering him mentally. He is hurt to me after the season I look for him to admit he was hurt most of the year.
  16. Sizemore is a DL slot at least 3 times a yr ...............No to GS.
  17. Former WWE/WCW star Barry Windham did indeed suffer a massive heart attack over the weekend, according to Wrestling Observer website. Windham remains hospitalized in stable condition in a Florida hospital. Get well to the the former Horsemen.
  18. I still would prefer at least some veteran staff members too many guys learning on the job.
  19. Helmet to helmet hit called in USC/Stanford allowed Stanford to tie it up at 34-34, but not Illinois game the fix was in. Have to make sure Joe PA gets 409 at home.
