  1. If the creative team showed even half the focus in writing good, episodic television as they do in screwing with Ross in Oklahoma, Raw would be a much better television show. Last night show was horrid!
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 12:33 PM) Angelo has killed this team pretty much in all facets. He's pissed away a decade's-worth of good defense while continually failing to build an offense. Now, everything's about to come to a boil as he's drafted so poorly that we have no replacements for the rapidly declining players who have kept us afloat for so long. Spot on!
  3. Worst part about Halas Hall is Angelo and company still think there is NO problem with the OL or the Bears in general. He is f***ing clueless! Stephen Paea DT in the 2nd round is a awful pick he is not been active all year a OL could of helped this team. Angelo as a talent evaluator is a D to D- on a good day!
  4. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 09:33 AM) @DwyaneWade - STERN's "WORDS" 2day hurt the ppl who work at the AAA,other arena's,as well as local businesses &our fans.. Like you give a s*** Wade once deal is done you will NEVER mention these people again! Like it or not Wade alot of arena's were barely half full last year in alot of places.
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 11, 2011 -> 12:16 AM) I think the potential hitting coaches are deserving. I disagree with you there. If Robin is making the coaching choices, I guess I will have to give him the benefit of the doubt. If JR and KW are picking the staff for Robin, I am not ok with it and it reaks of cheapness.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:57 PM) The Bears are an incredibly poorly run organization. From the stadium to the management, they are missing huge opportunities to be great. They have one of the most loyal fanbases in the world and cannot capitalize. They are lowballing Forte and have I believe, 17 million left in cap room and have no plans to extend anyone until end of year so Bears save that money............McCaskey's misers of the midway 101 as usual. No reason not to pay Forte he is the offense without him they are 2-14.
  7. QUOTE (bulokis @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:54 PM) Season over! Angelo will not be fired, hence he will be given a contract extension. It sucks rooting for the Bears. When 2 teams in your own division are 5-0 .........................season is OVA.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:50 PM) There is only so much he can do when your O-line is pieced together with guys who wouldnt even be on an NFL roster unless we paid them. I can speed rush Omiyale Lovie is a defensive guy and defense blows ALL year, not just the OL!
  9. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:48 PM) Bears are just so poorly coached. 15 seconds left and you need 2 scores, the only possible way is to kick the fg, go for the onside kick and have the last play be a hail mary. And this game is entirely different if they kick a field goal instead of foolishly going for it on 4th down. Why the hell have Barber on the team If not 4th and 1............Forte sucks on short yardage.
  10. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:41 PM) Well they have a story up on the official website, albeit saying NOT CONFIRMED, but for me is as good as done deal. It is a done deal and whoopie s*** get your tickets now! BLAH!
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:22 PM) The coaching staff is going to get killed in the media this week Lovie always gets a pass.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:19 PM) LOL at Frank Omiyale Horrid
  13. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) The coaching staff is brutal. How they will continue to have jobs after this week is mind blowing. Angelo is a huge problem we could of got a OL in 2nd round instead of s***ty Peah.
  14. Bears unprepared someone should get fired. Angelo is nuts to tell people they have a OL and WR they have none.
  15. Bears getting old and slow .................Chris Harris is all mouth no play.
  16. JR fired for the 900th time on Raw is old and stale writing.
  17. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 8, 2011 -> 01:50 AM) I hope the NBA understands that very few people give a f*** about their lockout. People care when the NFL locks out because it's the kingpin. People care when baseball locks out because it's the only sport going on during the summer and it has such a long history in our country. The NBA has football to deal with as competition into January. It has the NCAA Tournament in March. It has baseball in the spring. It even has hockey, which is growing, in the picture. Not to mention that the NBA regular season feels like the least meaningful of the 4 major sports since several teams who make the playoffs every year have no shot at doing anything in them (although that wasn't as much the case last year, but it generally is.) They don't seem to realize how much damage every lost game will do. It's not surprising, but it's ridiculous it has come to this after all the success the league had last year. They can stay out all year, both sides are overplaying there hand. NBA is not a pimple on the NFL's ass. 1st 2 weeks of NBA season have been cancelled!
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 05:42 PM) You've gone out of your way the last few months to make it seem like the manager/coach has absolutely nothing to do with the performance of the players on the field. I must say that I disagree with you on this. 2nd that................Walker was pathectic in his job and it translated on the field!
  19. Anyone else think Angelo screwed up again with Stephen Paea DT as a 2nd round pick inactive for EVERY game so far? You do not draft players in the 2nd round not to play, good teams need them to contribute!
  20. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 02:07 PM) death knell NAIL to me!
  21. Walker leaving not so fast, he has job for life...................Per Tribune Greg Walker's options for 2012 include staying with the Chicago White Sox's organization in some capacity as long as chairman Jerry Reinsdorf continues to run the franchise. "If I leave, I want to leave on good terms with Jerry Reinsdorf," said Walker, who had dinner Friday night with Reinsdorf. "I can't tell you how much he has done for me and how he's treated me as a valued member of his family. It means a lot to me." Walker admitted he was surprised by the hiring of former Sox great Robin Ventura as manager but lent a strong endorsement. "I talked to Robin," Walker said. "He's one of my favorite people in baseball. I have a great connection with Robin." But Walker said Ventura deserves a clean slate in naming his coaching staff and did not express an opinion on who should replace him after nine seasons as hitting coach. "I wish the next person the best," Walker said. Walker said he has been contacted by Atlanta and San Diego but "there is nothing pressing." The Braves are in the midst of organizational meetings following the firing of hitting coach Larry Parrish, and San Diego released Randy Ready. He owes Walker nothing. This job for life nonsense is a joke IMO.
  22. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 12:48 PM) I like McEwing getting the 3rd base job, but the Mark Parent hiring is bizarre IMO. The relationship to Robin seems fuzzy and he's only had two years of minor league managing experience. Hopefully we find out more in the press conference, because I'm not impressed with this move. Sharing an agent years ago adds alot in game tactics.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 10, 2011 -> 12:52 PM) http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/...an-diego-padres He has no shot ...............NONE!
