  1. Thank god the Colts are not in primetime anymore this year..............NBC will flex them out later in the year!
  2. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Oct 22, 2011 -> 11:31 PM) Not with Tubs coaching. He's doing his best to screw it up. Not tonight Boomer Sooner is toast in Norman, they are headed for the exits.!
  3. Hawks and shootouts do not go together so far!
  4. Texas Tech whipping Oklahoma ass bad....................looks like upset night.
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 22, 2011 -> 10:29 PM) And Wisconsin loses on a hail mary. Holy s*** that was f***ing awesome. Mich St coach said great call by the OC.......................Hail mary was ONLY play in that situation.
  6. No more tarnished dome BCS nonsense talk anymore.
  7. In AJC Determined to get more from their hitters in 2012, the Braves didn’t just hire Greg Walker as their new hitting coach but also got him an assistant. Ex-White Sox hitting coach Walker was hired to replace fired Braves hitting coach Larry Parrish, and Scott Fletcher was hired for a hybrid role as assistant hitting coach — a new position for the Braves — and advance scout. Braves general manager Wren said he and manager Fredi Gonzalez agreed the Walker-Fletcher partnership would give the Braves a “dynamic” tandem for instructing hitters in the improved approach that Braves officials expect in 2012. The old Sox combo in Hotlanta!
  8. Zook has to go he is so unprepared. Illini special teams has been so bad during his tenure.
  9. QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 02:19 PM) File this under the least surprising thing ever. I am not suprised at all.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 03:02 PM) Speaking of the Illini not living up to expectations, Jereme Richmond is back in jail for failing a marijuana test while out on bond. The kid has not learned a thing.
  11. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 10:52 AM) Veteran C Olin Kreutz is walking away from the Saints because "he no longer feels passion and doesn't want to just collect paycheck," according to his agent. He has been a shell of the man for 3 years.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 12:05 PM) BNightengale Bob Nightengale #MLB Great hire by the #Braves, who will soon announce that Greg Walker will be their new hitting coach after leaving #WhiteSox. I am shocked by this!
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 21, 2011 -> 10:29 AM) Small world, huh? BNightengale Bob Nightengale #mlb Don't be surprised if the next #Angels GM is a former #WhiteSox assistant: Dan Evans or Rick Hahn have emerged as strong candidates. If Hahn is offered the job, I think he will go this time.
  14. Sounds like this guy was a nutjob.....................How does a state let a guy keep that many exotic animals in a private collection?
  15. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Oct 20, 2011 -> 08:24 PM) Why would you include JR in that, from all accounts everyone loves working for JR even Ozzie loved JR. My opinion is you have no idea about anything wsox related. JR has the final say on who is or is not the GM, is why he is included. As far as your 2nd comment your opinion of me is irrelevant, what are you 8 yrs old. My opinion is you ................who cares!
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 20, 2011 -> 05:25 PM) He has turned down a lot of interviews because they weren't what he was looking for. He seems in no hurry to the point where he would "take the job" to get away from Kenny. But don't let history disrupt a good rant. That is your opinion you got no idea any more than I do if he is or is not sick of the circus that is JR/KW and wants to leave now.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 5, 2011 -> 01:09 PM) If the Angels job is basically the guy who takes the blame while Scioscia and Moreno make all the decisions, I hope he doesn't. I am sure he would take the job, too get away from KW staying around forever.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 19, 2011 -> 09:13 PM) Yeah, Waltman was right about that promoter letting Hall go out there like that or at least having him do all that stuff that looked like crap. Hall insisted he be paid upfront and drove from airport directly to the arena.
  19. QUOTE (bschmaranz @ Oct 12, 2011 -> 10:30 PM) That Jayson Werth deal is still baffling to me. He had 1 good year in a loaded lineup..............Nats overpaid.
  20. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Oct 19, 2011 -> 05:37 PM) Anyone really shocked by this?? Not me, Sox cannot spend the least in MLB on the draft last 2 years and expect to have any depth.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 18, 2011 -> 01:32 PM) Being mentioned on the Score, as well as one of the Chicagoland papers supposedly that Thome could be considered to replace Walker No to Thome as hitting coach.
  22. Only way I want MB back is on the cheap 6 to 8 mil..........12 to 14 mil a year for him is way too much.
  23. I will never understand how players union has anything to do with draftees who are NOT union members. It is apples and oranges.
