KW to make a strong push for Crisp?
Soxfest replied to GreatScott82's topic in Sox Baseball Headquarters
No go on Crisp. -
Go Cora Go!
-
They made 2 no brainer decisions IMO.
-
Looks like Booker T and Scott Hall are at the Impact TV taping tonight!

BOR-ASS = no chance for A-Rod. JR will not spend that kind of money on anyone. I hope KW will get some decent players this winter not the bottom shelf CHEAP scraps of 2007. Mr. Smugass needs to do his job better in offseason.

Braves wanted ER gone all year long.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 26, 2007 -> 02:41 PM) I was really holding out hopes that Steve Stone could be worked into one of our broadcast booths. I still like Stone/Harrelson and Singleton/DJ would have made great teams. Me and you both. -
He is a 1st ballot HOF to me , just think about his numbers If he would not of got hurt and lost all those seasons.

From Booker T website Announcement We want to begin by thanking the many wonderful WWE fans that we have had the privilege of entertaining over the last eight years. Sharmell and I have enjoyed the opportunity to put smiles on your faces night after night. We also want to thank everyone in the wrestling community for their support of our very own P.W.A. (Pro Wrestling Alliance). The dream of bringing professional wrestling back to my home town of Houston, Texas is coming to fruition, and we have you to thank for it. I want to address something that has been on my mind for quite some time now in regards to my recent suspension from WWE. I want to state for the record that I was not taking any illegal substance, or anything outside of my physician's care, and that the suspension was unwarranted. However, rather than fight the suspension or publicly voice my discontent, I used this recent hiatus to rest, work with the P.W.A., and reflect on the direction of my career as a professional wrestler. I also, for the record, have never at any time ordered anything from "Signature Pharmacy". This allegation is upsetting, and the careless and slanderous reporting of this matter is currently being addressed by my legal counsel. I would like to also address any possible rumors or misinformation regarding our release from WWE. I had been unhappy for quite some time with the direction that the Company was going in. In fact, I asked for my release back in July for that very reason. However, after further contemplation, I decided to continue on with WWE because of my passion for this industry and my desire to entertain the fans. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that my unhappiness with my work environment was beginning to take a great toll on other aspects of my life. I knew that it was time to make some extremely tough decisions. Therefore, in the interest of my mental, physical, and spiritual well being, I along with my wife, asked for our release from World Wrestling Entertainment for the second time within months. We were graciously granted our release and we have since amicably parted ways. While the business relationship between ourselves and the WWE has ended, we will continue to be involved in Professional Wrestling. We hope that our loyal fans will follow us as we make this transition. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, and we will see you soon! Booker T. and Sharmell

Second Generation Hart Foundation could be scrapped. - There are not a lot of details right now, but it appears as if Teddy Hart and WWE have parted ways. With Hart's departure from the company it looks as if the entire planned Second Generation Hart Foundation angle will be scrapped. There should be more on this story soon. - Hart joined WWE for another stint in developmental months ago. Reports were that there would be a "Second Generation Hart Foundation" group formed and the group did end up forming in developmental with Hart, Harry Smith, TJ Wilson, Nattie Neidhart and Ted DiBiase Jr. The group, mainly Hart, Smith and Neidhart, were to be brought up to the Smackdown roster soon but with Hart gone, the whole angle may be dropped. We should be playing San Diego or Arizona at home NOT f***ing Pittsburgh again. We should play 4 teams in the NL West. I looked at Cubs, compare the length of our trips to there's. I do not get how 2 teams from 1 city playing 162 games apiece have such different length on road trips not once but multiple times in 2008!

I like it.

QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Oct 9, 2007 -> 04:38 PM) I was listening to Boers & Bernstein at 4:30 today, and Boers said that this deal is being discussed by the Angels and Sox: Konerko and Garland for Figgins, Kochman and Shields. FWIW. If that trade goes down..........FIRE KW at the same press conference:angry:
