Tony Stewart purposefully ran someone over?
Let the investigation take it's course. Lighting very bad and guy had a dark race suit and on right side of those type cars you cannot really see out very well. Guy had no business leaving his car. The title of this thread needs to be changed it is per speculation.

Per the Wrestling Observer, these are the current match times for all of SummerSlam's matches. These can (and will) of course change by Sunday by at least a small degree, but it gives you an idea of who is getting how much time: * Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena, 25 minutes * Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon, 15 minutes * Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns, 20 minutes * Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins, 15 minutes * Paige vs. AJ Lee, 12 minutes * Rusev vs. Jack Swagger, 12 minutes * Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho, 15 minutes * Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz, 10 minutes

Eaton to DL
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 9, 2014 -> 04:20 PM) Are people not understanding that our starting CF just went on the DL so we need someone to play CF who isn't Garcia or De Aza? The answer is Jordan Danks.. If it was De Aza or Viciedo who went down, we probably would have seen Taylor Whoopie doo not bad enough Sox have one s***ty Danks on the roster now we have 2. Jordan Danks is NEVER the answer.

Eaton to DL
Danks keeps getting chances for no reason. He will hit.200 at best.

Sox have enough crappy bullpen guys that walk people already.

Can Sox hold Seattle under 10 runs tonight?

2014-2015 NFL Football thread
I wish NFL would go to a 2 preseason and 18 regular season games. 4 Preseason games is just overkill. Bears backups are just terrible.

Is this bullpen Rick Hahn's fault?
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 8, 2014 -> 02:38 PM) That's what White Sox fans do. Otherwise, we would be Cubs' fans. Bruce Levine was on the Score this morning, and he was seriously floating the idea out there that Reinsdorf only cares about the team not losing money/profitability for the owners/board of directors, and that lower payrolls and the state/local subsidies that kick into place when the attendance sinks to below 1.5 million (or maybe it's 1.2-1.25 million, something like that) will give the Sox a lot less incentive to make big moves in the free agency market....sort of saying they're going to still be profitable as the 28th team in attendance, and can follow the Loria/Marlins/Expos blueprint. When are people going to realize Bruce is 100% pro Cub and anti White Sox. Everything Cubs do is wonderful and when Sox make a move it is just ok at best. When he was at ESPN 1000 the bias on his daily reports were unreal.

"Waiver" Trades
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 8, 2014 -> 01:01 PM) I still struggle to believe that Billy Beane wouldn't have $4 million to spend for the rest of this season by claiming Adam Dunn, especially after they just removed a middle of the order, high power, high strikeout bat in Cespedes. Baltimore would be another place Dunn would fit in.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 11:44 PM) I would keep him in the minors the rest of the year, as he threw a ton of pitches for NC St. Given the fact this team isn't playing for anything the rest of the way, I'm just not a fan of rushing him up. He got all the money he could, now it is the Sox turn to set policy. I would not use him at all this year.

MLB.com's Scott Merkin writes that there's a "better-than-average chance" White Sox pitching prospect Carlos Rodon is promoted this season to work as a reliever. It would be the same developmental path Chris Sale took in 2010, and that's worked out pretty well for the Pale Hose. Sale threw 23 1/3 relief innings for the White Sox that year, but he was called up in early August. If he's promoted, Rodon isn't expected to be up until September. The No. 3 overall pick has allowed four runs while striking out 13 over nine innings in his first five pro appearances. For what it's worth, manager Robin Ventura said he hasn't given thought to Rodon being promoted. "I'm not even going down that far," Ventura said. "We are concerned about what's going on right here. If they say he's pitching well enough to come up, then the more the merrier at this point." Source: WhiteSox.mlb.com

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 7, 2014 -> 11:20 PM) I believe it. I also believe the guy hasn't been "right" all year. I wouldn't be surprised if it had to do with his mom passing Good point maybe with a off season to grieve for his Mom he will be in a better mindset next year.
