  1. 1, 2, 3 inning. It wasn't conventional but they didn't score.
  2. QUOTE (Utah Sox Fan @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 04:19 PM) First time poster, long time reader. Had to get on board for this one, should be a good game. Give em hell Danks. Welcome Aboard!!!!! Are you a Utah Jazz fan? If so you can help me stick up for them in the winter and spring, haha.
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 05:12 PM) Pedro Gomez lifted his no trade clause to play for the white sox? On SportsCenter he said Griffey was the only team he lifted his no trade clause for because he thought the White Sox would be playing in October and he hasn't been to the playoffs since 1997 I think.
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 03:55 PM) That is a tough one for me. I certainly see the point in them, but it could backfire if they are too short, meaning there's just not enough experience to get things done. I guess I will go for them, but make them something like 12-20 years Yeah I think if they have term limits, it should be longer than the president. Senate maybe 12 years, no more than 18. House maybe 10 years, no more than 14.
  5. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 05:01 PM) lol i didnt want to start a new thread asking. haha he's probably around somewhere, we'll probably see him tonight.
  6. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 04:57 PM) i dont know if i missed it or what, but i havent seen walker in the dugout in a long time. where is he? In the club house drilling holes in the barrel of every bat.
  7. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 03:24 PM) Buster Olney picked the twins Buster Olney loves the Twins, which is partially why I can't stand him. John Kruk seems to always pick the Sox no matter what. And I remember in Baseball Tonight's opening show of 2005, Peter Gammons picked the Twins and the Cubs to be in the World Series, which ended up being the White Sox beating the Astros. So I'm glad he picked the Twins too.
  8. Good to see 3 out of 4 Around the Horn contestants picked the Twins. I'd rather have it that way.
  9. Are these what you think, or are these actual complaints you've heard?
  10. QUOTE (joejoedairy @ Sep 30, 2008 -> 12:05 AM) I wouldnt mind seeing griffey at dh and Anderson in Center but It isn't likely. Danks is a stud and he will cement that notion tomorrow How about Anderson in left and Griffey in center. I've had enough of Wise starting and I've been a huge supporter of him. I'm not a big Thome fan, but I believe he should be starting because of his power threat.
  11. QUOTE (Felix @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 06:30 PM) I'm impressed Hawk didn't give us the old 'stretch' on that JD fly out. Me too.
