  1. Maybe Willie Harris should've been kept 1 extra year. He'd be seeing some time in center field possibly.
  2. I also always wondered what the Roman Numeral for zero is.
  3. Here's a question I'm wondering about. Has anyone ever found out that a friend of their's was gay and did that affect how you viewed them or how you hung out with them? I haven't had a good friend come out openly before so I wouldn't know but I have thought about how it would affect our friendship and I don't think it would, I think it'd all be the same, but once again I've never been through it so I don't know.
  4. I love the King Arthur film that was made in 2004.
  5. Yeah especially with the Y2K stuff. Is the end of the world in Sydney, Australia supposed to happen first, then work it's way around the world.
  6. I think Tennessee Titans WR Drew Bennett was a quarterback in college.
  7. Thanks for the info everyone. I bike like crazy because I love to bike, but I should probably mix in other things aswell. Luckilly I've never been a huge pop drinker so I mainly just drink milk and water which isn't bad at all. Rock Raines said no carbs after 7. That's probably where I mess up the most. At night is when I eat the most probably.
  8. haha yeah I'm not exactly thin. I wear size 34's for my waist. I normally drink a lot of milk so I obviously probably eat too much compared to my exercising.

    Ab Workouts

I just can't get rid of the fat around my stomach, I try and try and nothing seems to work. I'm not over weight or anything (6'2" 195 lbs) but I'd like to get rid of the extra weight around my stomach area. I've always had a belly so maybe that's just part of me, but I'm sick of it and want to try to do something about it. I bike a lot and I'm trying to eat healthier right now. I guess I'd like to know some of your ab workouts or suggestions for my quest at a leaner stomach. Thanks.

    Aced

I've have to go with 100% as well. I just find it hard to believe someone can ace a test when they missed 10% of the questions or something.
  11. I think it should be in the Oklahoma panhandle every year. Make Beaver, Oklahoma the place to be.
  12. Hopefully it does prevent further damage to it. He's 1 more run closer to 1500 now.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) I still think people underestimate how big of a factor Kurt Thomas was for the Suns early in the year and how much his injury hurt them. Compared to last year, he gave that team the ability to actually get the occasional defensive stop , and even more so, he was a strong rebounding force, both of which allowed the Suns to start off on the break. Losing him really hampered their defensive abilities and their ability to get on track when they were slumping with the jump shot. Before Thomas was hurt, Phoenix was near the top of the league in defensive efficiency (points given up per 100 possessions), after he was hurt, they started getting a lot worse. I was going to mention him but I forgot which one it was, Kurt or Kenny and I was too lazy to look it up, haha.
  14. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 06:43 PM) The Suns will never win it all with that style, you have to play at least SOME defense to win it all. Nice to see Detroit go down as well, new blood in the finals with Miami and Dallas and it should be a great series. I just wish Amare would've been able to play in these playoffs. They Suns played great with all of those injuries. They're going to be very good next year aswell. A lineup of Stoudamire, Diaw, Marion, Bell, and Nash will be sick offensively. I wouldn't be surprised if Tim Thomas left, he's going to make a few million more since it's his contract year. Barbosa is going to be a great player aswell.
  15. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) Perhaps he can 'pull an Everett' and grab Marte or Vizcaino again? They seemed to have gotten things back on track. That would work too, I miss those guys.
  16. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 06:23 PM) Carl Everett and Robbie Alomar should be available any day. lol championship or not, Kenny Williams will never live this down. At least it worked out regarding Carl Everett.
  17. His numbers at home aren't anything to brag about either. lol maybe we should have a DH for Brian as a previous post said. I'd like to know when or if the last time a pitcher actaully batted in the American League and there was a DH for someone else.
  18. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) He wouldn't be much worse........ Problem is, he'd fit in with the rest of the pack. Giving up hard hit outs, screaming line drives, continually walking batters after getting ahead 0-2, and serving up HR's. Let Shingo stay in Japan. Well yeah we need improvement and Shingo would keep us the same.
  19. This is great stuff to read. The only time lately where I was mad at him was when I was at the Twins/Mariners game bragging to Twins fans about how good of a team player he was, then he was caught napping on that triple play.
  20. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 05:31 PM) I didn't realize he played. For some reason I thought he went on the 15 day DL. So it's just Carpenter and Pujols? He was going to go on the DL but they decided to wait a couple of days. I don't know if this is the right decision, but if didn't have either Edmonds or Pujols they'd be hurting pretty bad.
  21. I love playing volleyball. I would've played it if Iowa had boys volleyball.
