Jiffy Lube jags....
I used to work at one for about 6 months and they used to cheat people out of money like crazy, which was part of the reason why I walked out. Or was "pushed" out because I didn't agree with making people buy things they don't need.

Official NBA Playoffs Thread
Wade's play was not a backcourt violation. I didn't think it was then and now there is proof that it wasn't. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2006...tory?id=2492756

QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 02:46 PM) how does this inning affect Jon's allstar possibilities? Haha I don't think he'll be an all-star either way.

looks like the shut out could be out of question, that's ok though, just get out of this inning Jon, we have plenty of chances right now.

wow the Reds have been shut out 6 times this season. I remember like 5 years ago or whenever it was when they had that long streak of at least scoring 1 run in a game. That went on for a long time.

Interleague Play
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 17, 2006 -> 07:13 PM) Edgar Matinez' career would have been over 8 years before he retired if the DH didn't exist. It helps players who totally suck at defense, are injury risks in the field or are just too damn old to play the field a way to prolong thier careers. I hate watching National League baseball anyway, you see so many pitchers walk the 8th hitter in order to get out of a jam, in the AL there isn't usually that incredibly easy out in every lineup that pitchers can bank on. It deflates ERA's and and inflates strikeout numbers for pitchers. Exactly, I hate the National League the same reasons as you do. All the time the 8th hitter is walked. It's just annoying.
