QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) Meh, I disagree. That's why I was so stunned when they ran that trick play to perfection against the Bengals, Cowher normally wouldn't allow that, at least the Cowher I've seen over the years. Yeah maybe you're right, all I know is I could see the Steelers blowing this because he tries to establish the run in the 2nd half.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 01:35 PM) Not sure why it surprises you. Cowher has alwasy been a pussy, "ball control" coach....it's why he's never won anything despite having some teams with superior talent. Maybe he's a fruitcake or something then. He always loves to do those trick plays which definately doesn't go in line with being a pussy.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 01:34 PM) If the Steelers end up losing by a field goal or TD, Cowher will be ripped for that ball-less end of the first half. Him and that no pass interference call which probably would've gotten them at least a field goal.

I wish the Steelers would've gone for at least a fiel goal, it surprises me that they didn't with Cowher being the type of coach he is.

D'Backs #1 overall pick Justin Upton
haha can't say I've heard of the guy, but I never really know a lot of minor leaguers.

Is Buehrle hurt?
It's a smart decision by Mark to not do the World Championship in my opinion. Get ready for Spring Training and this upcoming year is the way to go.

100,000 for the Sports Pub
With 99,500 posts and another half of the Colts/Steelers game plus the whole game of the Bears/Panthers, today could be the day where the Sports Pub goes over 100,000, if not today, then definately within the next couple of days, so congrats to everyone for that.

Ouch, that penalty hurts.

The Colts will have a good chance to do something if they get the ball back, there will be some time to work with.

What do you think the Steelers will do, go for points or try to run out the clock?
-
Official NFL General Discussion Thread
I'd call that a win for the Steelers. The Colts got their offense rolling and only came away with a field goal after having the ball at the 1 yard line.

The Wolverine got away with one there. Could've easily been pass interference.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:58 PM) They work so much off of the good blocking of the O-line. That's not there, so there's nothing. Well I'm glad you pointed that out. I know they have a very good line but that does make a lot of sense.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 12:57 PM) Peyton is sucking pretty hardcore. But it won't be his fault, (even though I don't think it really is this time) but from what I've seen of him in games he's quick to blame someone else instead of himself for a bad pass or a sack or what not.
-

Uh oh, Peyton is going to start blaming the world for the troubles.
