  1. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) I'd rather have Borchard on this team over Timo in a heartbeat. Dick Allen will second that and I'll third that.
  2. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) Yes he would have. I like Joe. He'll probably never make it, but I hope he does even if it isn't with the Sox. Yeah me too. At least he has the record for longest home run at the Cell.
  3. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) Borchard's numbers have been pretty impressive since May 1. Do you think he should be on the team? He would've caught that ball in left field.
  4. Perfect timing too, if only this would've happened 2 innings ago.
  5. NEVER SAY NEVER, we still got time. I know it's wishful thinking but it's not like we haven't scored 5 in an inning before.
  6. QUOTE(farmteam @ Aug 13, 2005 -> 03:59 PM) Don't forget Cedar Rapids and Iowa City which are essentially right next to eachother. Davenport is decent, parts of the downtown are kind of rundown, but the stuff by the river, especially around the baseball stadium, is pretty nice. Yeah, stupid me, I knew I was forgetting some. I forgot the #2 biggest city in Iowa which is Cedar Rapids.

Mine's probably Anna Paquin. Probably because she's in the X-Men movies.
  8. I live like 2 hours away from the Twin Cities but I can't stand them, mostly because I don't like Minnesota. Minnesota likes to try to pick on Iowa, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas. That's all they try to do, but anyways Iowa's state fair is going on right now and RAGBRAI just got done. That brings people from all over the world to Iowa. I'd say Des Moines is a dump though, I don't really like that city either. But at least Iowa has decent size cities all around. Right next to Omaha is Council Bluffs, there's Souix City, Waterloo, Des Moines, Ames, Dubuque, and Davenport, part of the Quad Cities. Nebraska basically has Omaha and Lincoln.
  9. I'd say 85% good and 15% luck. You have to be good to have the best record in baseball, but the Sox have had luck, both good and bad luck this season, obviously more good luck.
  10. lol I know this is mean, but I gotta say it. I guess he was a "Die-Hard" gamer.
  11. wow, I have played a video game forever it seems. My system busted and I don't know if I'll buy one of the newer ones because I'm ok with out it.
  12. wow this is going just a bit too far......
