hot or cold
QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Jun 27, 2005 -> 03:14 PM) Have you worked outside in the cold? Do you have a driveway? You come in from the heat and cool off immediately in an air conditioned room. In the winter it takes almost an hour to recover from the cold tempertures. Plus your nose runs when its cold outside, there are sooooo many reasons I like the summer more than the winter.... Yes I've worked outside in the cold and yes I have a driveway that I shovel in the winter. It doesn't take me an hour to recover, I feel pretty normal after I get inside. I'm from Iowa so it's not like I don't know what cold weather is.

I prefere the cold weather becuase for some reason I'm never cold. Snow isn't bad at all to me. Maybe it's because I'm Scandinavian.

I think he has a decent chance to make it in. He was a feared hitter for some years.

Oh no, we lost 2 in a row after winning 8 straight. Cmon, every team has games like this. It's not that big of a deal. This team will rebound and go to Detroit to win that series.

I almost think on 3-0, if it's a good pitch our guys have to be swinging. That'll be the best pitch Prior throws.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) I'm not talking about BA for the league lead or anything. .303 in 66 ABs isn't like its nothing tho. That's averaging less than an at bat per game. Sure it's something, but if you were asked on who would get the first hit of the game against Prior, Ozuna would be my 2nd or 3rd to last guess.

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 02:44 PM) And Pods wastes very little time in getting an out. Prior's pitch count must be like 35. Yeah we need him to get that pitch count up there. But I guess he did throw like 130 pitches against us earlier this year so it probably wouldn't matter unless he was in trouble anyways.

QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 26, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) Why not? He has the second best (behind Widger) BA on the team. Him and Widger are not everyday players. They wouldn't qualify since you have to have 3.1 at bats per game.

It amazing what one year does. This is only like the 2nd time I've watched Garland pitch this year and his mentality is so much different.
