  1. Once again first pitch for Pods.
  2. I noticed all of the A's players in their starting lineup are white (counting Chavez as being white because he looks white.) And most of them are left handed batters too. Not that this is a big deal or anything, it's just odd to see in today's game for any sport.
  3. QUOTE(wsox08 @ Jul 2, 2005 -> 09:41 PM) It didn't look like Crede hit it that far... I was just thinking to myself that we could use #12 Joe... Who thinks we need a new 3b? He made some nice plays this game and came up with a clutch hit. I've never questioned his fielding. I love it, his power numbers are just fine too. I just wish that average would be better, but it's getting up there.
  4. We'll take that run back.
  5. On my Christmas list for Santa Claus next year, I'm going to ask to not have Timo Perez on the White Sox.
  6. Let's get this last out Jon!!
  7. Not good hear. I'd be happy if they only tied it.
  8. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jul 2, 2005 -> 09:22 PM) Why's Willie playing? Wille can't hit Willie can't steal I like seeing Willie play, but I don't want to see him everyday.
  9. Cmon Frank, just a base hit now.
  10. I love seeing our leadoff hitter swinging on the first pitch.
  11. Not surprising, bad stuff always happens out west, especially in Oakland. Let's go Sox!!
  12. There goes the no hitter, there goes the shut out.
  13. I don't get to watch the Sox a lot, but has Pods been taking fewer pitches over the past few months?
  14. Very cool sig.
  15. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 2, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) That was for his career. I miss understood you when you said last year. I was thinking last year's average. I get it now.
  16. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 2, 2005 -> 08:14 PM) They showed a stat last year on Frank with a 3-0 count, and his average was brutal. It was well under .200. Yeah I guess last year's Frank is a lot closer than 90's Frank. 2 down. Good.
  17. lol what the heck?? Timo makes a good running catch then looks like he was blocking the sun after the catch.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 2, 2005 -> 08:10 PM) Frank goes up 3-0, and ends up striking out. I think we've seen that as much from him this year as we did from 1991-1998 combined. Probably, but I also remember him swinging on 3-0 too. I almost wish he would since it looks like he's only trying to hit a home run. Might as well serve up that pitch.
  19. You can't have a 3-0 count and strike out. That's the worst, especially striking out looking.
  20. I'll be rooting for Carlos, good luck to him. He's definately an All-Star in my opinion.
  21. I picked Mark too, like nearly everyone else. You just feel like it's a win already when he goes out there.
  22. Pitching 2.2 scoreless innings has to be a confidence booster and if he can get a few more scoreless innings under his belt, he should be back. I hope anyways.
