Tigers @ White Sox, Game Thread
southsideirish71 replied to NYSox35's topic in 2006 Season in Review
I will be at the game hoping that Jon keeps it up. Pitching inside is key. Its time to rock the Gambler. -
Coulter calls 9/11 widows "witches"
southsideirish71 replied to whitesoxfan101's topic in The Filibuster
Coulter is a skag. She needs some self loathing human being to give her a jump from time to time to keep her inner b**** at bay. -
Hangar18's Chicago NewsMedia Watch Thread
southsideirish71 replied to Hangar18's topic in The Diamond Club
QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 12:39 PM) Note: Hangar has been doing the Media Watches since 2002. We have a good attendance, we are the defending world champions and are .5 games out of first place in June. WTF are we still talking about media bias and crap like this. NO ONE CARES IF THERE ARE 5 STORIES ABOUT THE CUBS AND 4 STORIES ABOUT THE SOX on X day. If you want to read whitesox all the time, I suggest you read the Southtown Economist. Lots of Sox stories. You may want to purchase a sissors to cut out the random cub stories so they dont hurt your eyes. -
QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 8, 2006 -> 07:41 AM) Busted... you got me. Thank you so much R&W... :rolly I just thank my lucky stars it's something I can get help for and not something non-treatable.. like say... a stupidity disorder. ZING!

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 03:07 PM) I don't give a s*** if they implicate numerous former or current White Sox players, I just really want to see some names thrown out there. This whole thing should lead to a blood test for HGH, Grimsley's situation should make the human growth hormone problem a major focal point. Maybe this will put some pressure on Donald Fehr, who wanted to pull out of the current drug testing program if the Collective Bargaining Agreement wasnt signed by a certain date this summer. Wait till congress requires a blood test for this.

Sean Tracey Promoted; Cliff Politte to the DL
southsideirish71 replied to Steve9347's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The big key for Sean is to throw strikes. If he does that his stuff should keep him here. -
QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 01:23 PM) Allow me to introduce all of you to Gianna Grace. 7 lbs. 4 oz. 20 in. Mom, Baby and Dad are all doing great!! Gianna was able to watch her first white sox game last night and brought home a winner. She was never even worried. Congrats to you, your wife and family. Happy Birthday Gianna.

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jun 7, 2006 -> 11:33 AM) I like the idea of Clark. That's a much more legit name for the Sox to be looking at. This is a great call. He would fit our team well. Here is to the brewers getting rocked in the next few weeks.
-
Its been nice knowing you Uribe. CINTRON

Instead of trying to hit the dramatic home run, maybe Konerko should be trying to hit a line drive. Thome and Konerko were trying to go yard instead of driving in the runs in that situation. This is why we have sucked over the last 2 weeks with men in scoring position.

Here comes Zumaya. Lets see how this works.
-
Jesus f***ing Christ, keep taking pitches down the cock.
-
Zumaya vs Anderson would be cruel.

QUOTE(greg775 @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) We've got to ride out this slump. We're better than this. We do need to ship Anderson though and start playing our regulars every day until they drop or get hurt. No more Sunday lineups. When Ozzie was f***ing around the first few weeks with Sunday lineups after Sunday lineups everyone was saying its okay, like it was an extended Tuscon session. Unfortunately dropping games because we were resting our players in game 2, and using the Boone Logan experiment f***ed us today. We would be tied or in first place if we didnt play f*** up for the first week or so.

Bmac has already thrown a fastball harder than Garcia did all game long. And Bmac is not exactly a flame thrower.
-
Bmac walks the leadoff guy. Here we go.

QUOTE(SoxHawk1980 @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:51 PM) Robertson is getting better as he goes tonight. His innings are getting easier and easier. It almost looks like the Sox have given up. I'm sure they haven't, but it doesn't look like they are bearing down and fighting like hell, like they did last year. Our guys are in the I can hit a solo homer mode.
-
QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:50 PM) Reinbecker is going to be a really good pitcher and so is Robertson. We are just running into some good pitchers lately. I am sure that Thome and Konerko and Dye are saying to themselves, we just got beat by a better player. Or its that they didnt execute.
-
Watching JohnnyCakes Robertson get all of these grounders to the left side, I feel like I am watching our hitters go up against Cy Reinbecker.

QUOTE(That funky motion @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:41 PM) Anderson all you nhave is your fielding, dont f*** that up too!! Anderson called it. The CF always has priority.
-
QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) we can still win this f***ing game Sure its possible. But they need to start hitting with men in scoring position. They also need to stop running themselves out of innings, not executing and all other issues with our team.
-
QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:38 PM) He just missed it. We used to just miss a lot of homers in 2001-2004.
-
QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Jun 6, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) the bottom line is that we are still in this game, down 3-1 in the fifth inning and we're discussing offseason surgery for Freddy. WTF? How about "let's get at least one back this inning" Well you think that his velocity drop is something normal that all pitchers go through.
-
Thanks Gooch for taking the pitch down the cock. Pathetic.
