I'd love to see Matsui in the outfield for the Sox, but if it means Konerko is gone, I don't like it. I guess though if Konerko did leave, he'd be a solid option. I also like the Durazo idea if he doesn't cost us an arm and a leg. There's a lot of options out there and hopefully if Kong leaves us, Kenny will be right in the thick of things figuring it out and putting a winner out there.

I've been begging Letterman to retire for years. He's turning into the 21st century version of Harry Carey. Pretty soon, he'll be calling his guests by their backwards names.

I'd definitely say no to that one. Gooch has been awesome in the field and he did hit the ball very well yesterday, including a hit. Switching his spot in the lineup is an option, but we all know Ozzie, not happening.

I personally would have gone half way but the conditions at the cell last night, you can understand why he thought he might be getting caught.
