The last time I was ever at old comiskey I couldn't see the game because that very day I had one of my eyes almost poked out by some douche at school. I was 9 or 10 years old (1990 I believe). We left before the game was over because once Thigpen came outta the bullpen it was all over.

Perhaps they're still pissed off about the Gamboa incident? But really, those announcers are a couple of jag bags. Do people actually have to have a journalism degree anymore to do any type of journalism? They need to research s*** before making ignorant blanketed statements. My brother lives in Ann Arbor and I was fortunate enough to catch a Sox/Tigers game last year and I have to tell you, that place is amazing. I haven't been to too many parks (The Cell, Old Comiskey, Miller and Wrigley) and I'd have to put Comerica at #1 on my list. It's not in the best of neighborhoods, in fact it's in the ghetto, but about 95% of Detroit is a ghetto. It's just such a beautiful place to check out a game. And I'd also like to say that the Tigers fans are actually a good group of folks. Very nice people, but I guess you'd have to be if your team was so horrid. There were also a TON of White Sox fans. I guarantee a good time man, that park is fantastic. Just one thing, stay away from the Little Ceasar's Pizza.
