Hey Thanks for the welcome. It's good to see another fan giving things a fair judgement. If you like the trade at the time then you can only say that it didn't work out later. If it's something you would have done then it's not fair to come back later and say man was that GM stupid for doing that trade. That's the way I try to look at things.

Why do you think Sirotka for Wells was a disaster? What has Sirotka done? It's not Kennys' fault Wells was a fat bum when he was here. He wouldn't get in shape to play for the Sox but, he sure slimmed down when the Yankees reaquired him. I don't see how anyone at the time couldn't have been excited about the trade. Let's remember Kenny doesn't have the luxury of hindsight.
