  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 07:32 PM) Dunn is 7-46, no homers with RISP This is so troubling in so many different ways I can't even begin to talk about it. I don't know if there is any explanation do you? Does anyone?
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 07:33 PM) Lillibridge is so awesome now. Make him the every day starter! It's easy to give him the man love now. I really like the Lillikid
  3. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 07:17 PM) No reason to move Gavin Floyd anywhere. He has done his job this year, just having a tough outing so far today. I can live with that. I agree and it's still early in the game
  4. Quite a battle between Reddick and Floyd and Floyd won
  5. It seems that whenever we have aSox pitcher in trouble like this theyc an't get out of it until 2-3-4 runs gets scored against them
  6. E Jax is the one struggling and we probably need the lefty in there (Danks) than another righty. However, I do think Jackson continues to battle regardless of his he satrts out in the game. If any trades are made, which I am not necessarily advocating, I am thinking Jackson and danks are moveable and would bring in some good talent.
  7. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 03:01 AM) Nice win. So, the revolving door to the bullpen should continue We have to find somebody to help get us to the 8th and 9th
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 02:59 AM) The 8th gave the Red Sox some life when Humber was clearly out of gas. I do think he let Humber go too long
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 02:57 AM) This is just brutal. Bruney should have been brought in to start the 8th. You think that would have made a difference in his effectiveness?
  10. Basically ineffective. The relief corps again. Six runs in the last two innings
  11. He had Varitek 0-2 and lost him.Too much of the plate
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 1, 2011 -> 02:52 AM) For those of you who don't remember: "As a member of the Chicago White Sox, Paniagua came in with a 6 run lead in the ninth inning. He proceeded to give up 4 earned runs on 3 hits and a walk in 1/3 of an inning. He then was pulled from the game by manager Jerry Manuel, walked towards the dugout and flipped off the umpire. He has an E.R.A of 108.00 with the White Sox." and was released withy an apology from the Sox for his conduct
  13. Maybe he is settling down. Nerves or whatever
  14. Everything is high. Is he trying to give up a five run homer or what?
  15. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 31, 2011 -> 06:43 PM) My uncle died during Vietnam. He was skiing in Aspen. Must have been hell
  16. I don't remember as I was in a jungle in a faraway land in May 1970, but I'll take your word for it and say do it again (not the jungle part though)
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 31, 2011 -> 02:53 AM) Shack you are calling for a sweep in Boston. That would be awesome, but highly unlikely. It's Fenway. You have to believe at all times greg
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 30, 2011 -> 09:12 PM) Yeah that's how we do things here. Punish the guys who succeed. Some of the comments about our players truly amaze me. Buerhle is probably the one guy you want out there with the last game of the season meaning a pennant or not. Balta is right on with this comment
  19. Are we starting to be positive and believers again? Jake pitched a good game and the bullpen gets some kudos (Crain and Thornton)
  20. Bunting is an important part of a game. Sox need to get it down literally and figuratively. Ozzie is not playing dumb baseball
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 31, 2011 -> 01:16 AM) I am. But this Red Sox offense scares me. Our bullpen scares me more. We can win these things
  22. Pitching cjange and two run single by CQ. This is good
  23. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 31, 2011 -> 01:14 AM) 8 hits and 4 walks from Lester we should have about 8 runs so far. B hppy Mr Soxfest
