White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 2, 2012 -> 03:58 PM) More bad baserunning by Hudson there. Should have been tagging up...he wasn't going to score from 2nd even if that ball had dropped anyway. No. He did what he was supposed to.

Nice piece of woodwork by O-Dog, notwithstanding the LF'er

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Dear Gavin, You can't pitch from behind in the count to lefties

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Dayan has to quit swinging at that s***. It'll make or break his career, whether he can lay off the high fastball

I hope Tank tries to work that RF jetstream here.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
AJ usually leads catchers in innings, games. He claims to be in the best shape of his life right now due to actually working on an S&C program. He'll be okay.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Gavin has this old problem of not being able to pitch with a quick move to home, but being way too slow with a workable stretch motion.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Both home runs have been followed by good pitching. Hmm

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Steve calls every slider a cutter. It's a slider. I'm gonna go against the grain and say it's not a bad pitch. It's only bad when it is up, like just about any pitch. He throws it up too much.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Behind in the count is not the best place to be. High and middle is not the best place for sliders.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Dunn has missed a couple decent pitches to hit so far.

White Sox vs Mariners 3:10 CST
Saunders keeping his face clear of that ball.

Youkilis, $5.6 million traded to White Sox
QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jun 2, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) Sox are in on Youkilis and if it happens they want it done soon. Spoken with an odd amount of certainty.

2012 Minor League Catch All thread
If he hadn't repeated AAA so many times at a young age (maybe we pushed him along too quickly) there would be some major buzz at this point. I'm not eager to make him a big league backup, at least not this year. Next year, at 26, there won't be anything left to prove in AAA.

2012 White Sox Catch-All thread
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 2, 2012 -> 12:52 PM) Hearing Juan Nieves on the Score, it sounds like Danks probably won't be ready Wednesday. No rush. Maybe let Quintana start Wednesday, and send Danks to Charlotte for a few innings, then let him tell his brother he made the bigs and they got on the plane back together. And who leaves the big league squad to make room for Jordan Danks?

Youkilis, $5.6 million traded to White Sox
Matt Thornton is the max I'd trade.

Jorge Soler
Given the current state of our outfield (Viciedo and De Aza in the long term, Rios for the next few seasons) and the fact we have young OF'ers getting close to MLB like Mitchell, Danks2 (look at his numbers this year folks), and the possible emergence of big talents like Walker and Thompson...I don't see us needing to drop big dollars on this kid. Draft an OF if there's a good one available, sure, but no need to spend 30 mill on this guy.
