I'm going against the grain here, but I want to see Stewart as a starter. I think guys with tremendous sinkers/2-seamers like that are wasted in the bullpen. Let him develop a tertiary pitch and see what happens.

At this point in time, I don't see any way the Bears can lose because of the QB position anymore. There might be the "if he played like a pro-bowler" argument, but there won't be a repeat of last year or much of the rest of the past century. It's a good feeling, we're really 3 deep. Any word on Peavy's velocity? I saw a tweet mentioning that the movement he had today would be useful if he doesn't get his velo back -- didn't know if that meant he hasn't gotten it back or if it was speculation that he may not get it back.

Damn near every move we make works well, I couldn't help but think that way this morning. Boozer is the main disappointment so far, but everyone had concerns about how he would fit in a Thibodeau defense. Those concerns continue -- occasionally he seems to be turning things around, other times he falls into old habits of passive defense. Rip hasn't been healthy in a shortened season and I won't blame the GM for that just yet, especially given the fact that Brewer has been phenomenal and Korver has far exceeded expectations this year as well.
