  1. An excellent draft class. Truly, an A+ grading.
  2. This will be one of the season's first true tests. Throw out the records.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 07:15 PM) 181) Timmy Chang, QB, Hawaii Don't let the recordbooks fool you, he'll never amount to anything in the NFL. If he ever catches on somewhere, he'll be a clipboard quarterback. Nothing more, nothing less. Angelo gets a B. I have all the faith in the world in his drafting ability. Although Cedric may not have been the popular choice, I think he'll thrive up here. He's just a workhorse and a guy that can get 30 carries a game, week in and week out. Some people think we had a good thing with A-Train, and that's fine, but Anthony Thomas will never be a Pro-Bowler. That is what seperates him from Cedric. Benson could become one of the leauge's primer backs in two years time. He has a chip on his shoulder and I think he'll live up to his billing. Until Angelo produces a poor draft class, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. By the way, Kyle Orton could be the jewel of the class.
  4. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:49 AM) McCoy= HE GAWN 2nd round - Eagles Figured as much. Let's hope Angelo finds a way to draft Ernest.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:44 AM) KEEP FALLING SHAZOR fall all the way to 140 you can start this year at OLB I'm with you. If Angelo finds a way to net Shazor, I'll turn around on this draft class in a hurry. Talk about a value pick.
  6. As I posted in the Day 1 Thread... The Cardinals, Vikings, Dolphins, Bengals and Niners all have grade A draft's going. All five of those teams have done awfully well.
  7. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:28 AM) Hayden Missed it. Thanks.
  8. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:21 AM) There went LeFors to Carolina. I guess he was going earlier than expected. I really like LeFors; although the odds are against him, I think he may be a starter in the NFL one day. His size is a far cry from most NFL QBs, but he has an excellent head on his shoulders and close-mid range acuracy that is second to none. Ah yes, congrats to Duke Preston, the first Illinois player selected!
  9. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 10:11 AM) That sounds like Craig Krenzel. You aren't the quarterback at THE Ohio State University if you don't have a good quarterback IQ and a boat-load of intangibles. I think Orlovsky is more physically talented, but he can't even compare with Krenzel upstairs.
  10. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Apr 24, 2005 -> 09:30 AM) Bears took Kyle Orton in the 4th round. Edit: Anyone who knows, what (if anything) separates Orton from Dan Orlovsky? Eh'. His stock dropped a lot over the off-season. People believe he doesn't have a lot of quarterback intellegence, can't throw the deep ball, zero mobility and most importantly, get's really flustered when things start going wrong. That said, I'm not thrilled with the selection of Orton. But, I'll give the kid a chance. He had first round written all over him before the injury. Who knows, he may end up being the jewel of the class.
  11. Guys, don't ask me why...I just had a real odd feeling. Adrian McPherson still on the board.
  12. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) Please Shazor keep falling so we snatch you up in the 4th as our OLB ^^^
  13. The Vikings, Bengals, Cardinals and Dolphins had grade A days. Day number two is a few hours away, anything can happen. ...go Niners.
  14. are you guys watching this jets fan reaction bit? OMG, it's histarical.
  15. There he goes...Nugent goes to the Jets in the second.
  16. This is where the GMs make their money...
  17. s***, the Niners took Baas. ...really like that kid. Ugly as sin, but I really liked him. EDIT: Back to the chat I go.
  18. There is soooooooooo much talent in the second round. It's really quite interesting. This is the perfect example of a draft scenario in which all the players have similar ratings. When guys are all rated exactly the same, you see hardly any trades and some very suprising selections (i.e. Chargers-Castillo, NE-Mankins).
  19. Aaron with a day off. Hmmmmmm. Maybe this will wake his ass up.
  20. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 10:28 AM) Addy -- get your ass in the chatroom! Ok, here I come.
  21. ...and we're off. Dolphins on the clock.
  22. QUOTE(T R U @ Apr 23, 2005 -> 09:52 AM) I doubt the Bears trade down Same here. We aren't going anywhere. The Bears will select fourth.
