  1. I like AJ here because the best rbi pitch won't go past him looking
  2. Robinson is a poor man's Vick in a ways. Kind of like that guy that will lure you in with his talent but kill you in a big spot. Sort of a McNown in that respect. Good college regular season player though
  3. "Thumper" has zero postseason homers last I checked this year. He is a Tony Gwynn-circa 2000 with less hitting ability right now
  4. Too bad they lost that reciver/back lst week. He looks like a keeper. Michael Robinson finally turned the corner. I thought Paterno forgot how to coach because he was too old. Wait, I didn't. The media did. The apologies are coming in any time now..........
  5. Haven't we all soured on Josh Fields, at least a little bit? I know I have. Fairly or not, I think he's though to as Borchard two.
  6. Can I mention something? I am a White Sox, Broncos, and Penn State football fan? Are my starts f'n aligned this year or what?
  7. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:45 PM) Come to think of it, has Scott BorASS hired Joe THUNDERBUCK to sell CREDE to a national TV audience? hilarious! We'll see in two years qwerty.
  8. QUOTE(Wanne @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:44 PM) We talk about PK makin some bucks for himself during the postseason....what about Crede?!?...CHA-CHING! I know. Thats my point. This is Broadway. This is the stage.
  9. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:43 PM) Um, Beltre hit 48 hrs, and 130+ rbi's too. Correct and if you read what I said, you'd see I said if he has a big postseason ( he has) and a good next year he''d get a year less and three less per year. I think you underestimate how good Scott Boras is. Any other opinions?
  10. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:41 PM) You disagree? I didn't say it be a good contract. He got 5 years/55 for Beltre.
  11. Too early for Qualls and Wheeler. THey really don't have a guy to pitch here. Gallo is a situational guy. I think I'd stay with Wandy through 5
  12. Right, I agree that there will be no discount with Crede with his present agent. Boaras wants 100 million for Tex and will always look for the big deal. If Crede has a good postseason and a decent next year (265-20-80) I could see Boras getting 4 years/32 million for him which would be crazy
  13. Good inning anyways. We saw more pitches off a new guy and we have Dye-Kong-Geriatric Park: The Lost Swing up next inning. I think we will add two more soon
  14. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:35 PM) No reason whatsoever to crede gets a three year deal. He will either sign a one year deal ( much like garland did int he off-season) or they will go to arbitration. Unless qwerty you get a discount on his abritration figure. That said, maybe a Mr. Scott Boras would have an issue with that.......Yes basehit!
  15. Can't bunt with the pitcher struggling with control and location. You'd bail him out
  16. If we win it all we could go 63-99 the next three years provided we bring everybody back. I wouldn't want to win and then turf guys like Boston did. IF sentimentality is stupid, color us stupid.
  17. QUOTE(Wanne @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) Jeff Bagwell.... Looks like.... Mojo Nixon haha!
  18. YEah those segments are taped and usually don't burn them. Fox trax= K-Zone but busier and more confusing
  19. Dear Joe Crede, I am sorry for the last three seasons. Please disregard my overtures for Bill Mueller. I have enclosed my return address for crow to be eaten by me at a time of your choosing. Thanks Neal PS. No haircuts until November 1st.
