Charles Barkley to join MNF
I have not been able to find a link yet but on the radio this morning ABC has contacted Barkley about joining John Madden and Al Michaels in the MNF booth this season. Barkley is under contract with TNT that does not allow him to work for another network but he's rumored to be buying a percentage of the Phoenix Suns and then he would leave TNT for conflict of interest. Barkley is great entertainment and he is a decent basketball analyst but football? I don't know.

What type of fan do you consider yourself
Casual fan. I don't follow the minors all that much and I can only see about 30 games a season. I consider this site my Sox I.V.

Former wrestler trying out for NFL
Broc Lesner is a Hell of an athlete. He was a dominate wrestler at the University of Minnesota and was a top football recruit out of high school.

Wahahahaha!
I would relive my Senior year of High School in a second. Great times!! As for movies, haven't seen anything outstanding as of late but Laws of Attraction was decent. Looking forward to the DVD release of Miracle and Return of the King later this month. Actually just saw Deperado (prequel to Once Upon a Time in Mexico) and if there are any Salma Hayek fans out there this is a must see!!!

Who is the best baseball announcer???
Has to be Vin Scully. It reminds of a more simple time listening to baseball on the radio with my Grandpa and Uncle when vacationing in Door County, WI with just the sounds of the waves lapping up from the Lake and the crackling of the radio broadcast.

My 15 minutes of Fame
The least they could do is give you a luxury box for the rest of the season for you and all your Soxtalk buddies. Hope you're okay Cheat and that the Sox compensate you for what you went through.

First accidents
First accident was back in 1992 (I think). Smashed up my Mom's 1965 Mustang. Was over by Golf Mill in Niles and went through a yellow at an intersection. The pavement was a bit wet and someone turned left in front of me and I couldn't stop and hit her at about 30 mph. I can still see it happening in slow motion. Luckily neither of us were hurt. She was able to drive away since I hit her in the rear quarter panel but the Mustang was dead in the street in a puddle of antifreeze. My Mom had just gotten the car a week earlier so I ended up with 3 tickets. No plates, no proof of insurance and failure to avoid an accident. She received a ticket for turning into oncoming traffic. All tickets were thrown out later in court and the insurance companies worked things out. The funny thing about this accident is the fact that the Mustang had no seat belts and of course, no air bags. I hit her head on at 30 mph and I didn't have a scratch. They sure don't make cars like they used to.

I'm curious about Cubs tickets Hear me out
Are you kidding?!? The Cubs don't sell tickets to real baseball fans. As far as getting to the Dome, you should have no problems with tickets. The last couple of years, even with the Twins doing well, I've been able to get seats behind home plate the day of the game. Plus, it's the cheapest ticket you'll find. Try not to get seats anywhere outside the infield. This stadium's seats are positioned for football and you'll get a kink in your next trying to watch the action down the left and right field lines.

Minnesota Twins
Don't cry for the Twins just yet. They will receive $14 million per from Fox in revenue. That's more than double what they were getting in their previous agreement.
