Watched Carla play in 03, watched as balls Rowand was camoping under and making a Fire roasted marshmellows Everett was not even close to getting. My tix were in RCF, got to see that sad excuse for a OF play almsot everyday in 03 (during the 2nd half) Didn't need him then and don't need him now.

Rowand I agree with you in regards to Gwety comparing apples and oranges.. That is like comparing who will have a better year Crede or Feilds.. Nobody, I would see have the best man from our prospects come up and sit on the bench and fill in for some time, then DH paulie and have Gload play 1b. It might not be the best laid plan but come July time and beyond we have some money to spend and also prospects that can be used past 2006. Beck I do like the idea of having Carl on this team till Frank comes back, and we might get more for him.. I just don't want Carla on this team by AUgust Sept time, esp if we are out of it.

Beck72, I can agree with you Trading Carla.. He serves no purpose, for month, month and half of the season, he does but for 4 million it is not worth it. I would love to trade away Carla for some of the Cubs propects, to replace our depleaded farm system KW loves to dismantle. I don't want Farns, I like our Pen the way it is, good mix of young and old. Otherwise a great idea.
