PLus the stabilty of a 2b and a number 2 hitter who can hit lefties...Kind of forgeting to factor that into the equation.

Who would you rather us give up that another team would want? You have to give up something to get good players, unless FLA/PHI want to do a salray dump.. then that is different.

That is not a good list, something tells me Gload is the starting 1b in 06.

WOW, now that the first I heard of any of that..IMO should look to deal Piazza first a 36 year old C.. who was never able to throw runners out when he was younger. This IMO is a bad Idea.. The Mets still have not leanred from their msitakes have they? They are still paying for Vaughn salary and now they want to take on Sosa.. that is just plain stupid IMO.

I really do hope Crede gets his swing together, he has done great in the minors, came up had a great end of year in 02, then it is like he wanted to be to much of a slugger, than a contact hitter.

Why? We don't need him here now with the signing of AJ and Davis our C situation is fine. I didn't see any other team knocking down his door when he was released to sign him.
