  1. Lets do this tonight! I want to have a good nights sleep! I can never let a loss go! :banghead
  2. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 06:22 PM) Bunting in the second inning with your best hitter statistically is grounds for enshrinement in the Hall of Idiocy. When down 2 runs? This is the kind of thinking that makes no sence to me! Why! Has Dye ripping the cover off the ball? Its the If you a hr hitter you dont have to bunt thinking that makes no sence at all!Ill put my bust right next to yours in the hall!
  3. QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 05:52 PM) ...and then when Dye fails to get a bunt down you b**** at Ozzie for having him bunt. No,I would'nt! Now go and try to dig up a post to prove me wrong!Thanks anyway!
  4. I just sick of Ozzie saying we dont play exciting bb and the he doesnt ever have Dye bunt the guys over. He puts the team in a situation to play homerun ball! Make them BUNT! MOVE GUYS OVER!
  5. I thought it looked great. The speech I didnt like was his sons. He just seemed lost! Glad they are bringing Fisk back to the Family. Even if we were the second team he always gave us 100% on the field,and thats all that matters to me!
  6. QUOTE(ceffa2000 @ Aug 7, 2005 -> 08:30 AM) SMOKE 'EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on Johnny boy! Finish the Semen! :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake :headshake
  7. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 7, 2005 -> 08:37 AM) LOL, I wonder how Joe feels about that comment. I was thinking the same thing when I heard it! He was laughing real hard when he said it also! :headshake
  8. I think are problem at home stems from the ball flying out of our park. On the road we play more small ball. I know we hit a ton of HR on the road,but it seems to be line shots,like they are trying for a base hit and just happened to get all of it. I also will say that until 90% of this lineup should be puting a bunt down with a man on 1st or 2nd and no outs. That would be true small ball and if Oz would make the guys start doing it now they would be ready for the playoffs!
  9. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 04:21 PM) I think having homefield is huge. Especially for a team that's rather inexperienced in the post-season. The team plays better on the road!
  10. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 03:07 PM) Vette...??? I'm sure he'll choose the convertable Jag instead. Jag???? I'm sure he has a Pinto.
  11. QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 12:26 PM) I've had diahrea all day as a result of eating a weeks old mexican food last night.... eating that food was a better call then throwing MB outta the game. Hawk is the s*** btw. I've never laughed so hard during a broadcast. :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke
  12. Teammates have to stick up for each other. This is why THIS team is so good! Feel the love!!!!!!
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 1, 2005 -> 11:08 AM) White Sox-1 Pablo-1
  14. I like Stoney doing this game. He does know a lot about the Sox,and is not afraid to tell the nation. Can't stand Joe Morgan!
  15. Give him a chance. You never know. Im sure 95% of you thought Cotts was the weak spot in our bullpen,at the beg of the year.
  16. QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 03:16 PM) Well, I think a lot of guys pass thru waivers a lot, due to contract situations and other things. There won't be as much available on the surface, but then again you will have more teams that are out of it and are more willing to move guys now while they can get something vs. the winter when the market is totally different. I can't wait for the first time Geoff Blum strikes out, this board will be clamoring for Ross Gload ("Gload woulda drilled that pitch, f***!") or Willie Harris ("Willie woulda legged that one out, Blum sucks!"). Or makes an error!
  17. The good news is nobody else improved and we are solid. Boston=no bullpen. Yanks=No starting pitching.
