that thing was brutal last night. my buddy and i decided to turn it into a drinking game and all the ball hit to right i had to drink and all to the left he had to drink. and the number the homer was you had to drink that amount (like 6 hrs six=6 drinks). needless to say i put down about ten on abreau and ortiz alone. :headshake

abreau was just on a roll. it happens. just because a player is in the zone doesn't mean he's juiced.

does anyone else agree that this new format for the hr derby with guys representing their countries is stupid. this way we leave deserving guys like konerko, a-rod, manny aren't in it and guys like jason bay and pudge who has five homers this year are. what are your thoughts?

i dont know why everyone has to doubt us. "because we have collapsed before" is not a valid reason. that was a different team. these guys are different. im not saying werer going to finish 60 games over but we have a very comfortable lead and i fully believe this team will hold off any runs the twins and tribe make. have faith in our boys. series like the a's are going to happen. i mean its the first time we've been swept all season. thats pretty damn impressive to me. don't panic. we'll be fine, the all-star break is coming at a perfect time. 2005 sox. yes many of us thought the sox would contend this year but i think its safe to say no one thought we would be dominating the way we have. having said that i think the nats are still the biggest suprise team.
