  1. 4 Ks . . . . haha I dont know why but that just makes me laugh That makes me miss Jose Valentine and his normal day of 1-4 with 3 K and a 3-R HR
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 10:44 PM) AJ's arm blows, but Freddy, Count and Vaz could care less about holding runners on... Sox Line Against: 13 SB 3 CS (3 PO) Our catchers have not thrown a single person out yet. However, we are only in the middle of the pack for SBs allowed. That surprises me.
  3. Have the sox thrown out someone stealing second yet?

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 06:46 PM) So you're looking into law school? My sister took the LSAT earlier this year and is going to IU law school next year. All last summer she was freaking out about that freaking LSAT. Sad to say I'm like you and enjoy doing some standardized tests. Only the math portion though, because it makes me feel smart knowing all the answers and finishing before everyone else. I'm doubling in Finance and Poli Sci, so I'm leaving the door open for law school, doubt I go though. Grades not good enough, LSAT score great though. So working world here I come. This is going to sound nerdish but I haven't missed a math question on an SAT, PSAT, ACT, PACT since 7th grade when i took the SAT and got a 730 in the math section (I beat my sister by 100 points in 7th grade when she took it as a junior, I've never let her live that one down) My brother was the same way about the LSAT, and his score kept him from getting it NU and UC Law which kinda is too bad considering he had fricken great GPA from UC.

Did anyone actually ever run out of time on this or the SAT? On a side note standardized tests rock! If you're good at one of them you are good at them all. I just took a practice LSAT a few weeks ago, is it sad to say that I actually enjoyed the logic problems
  6. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 10:25 AM) Yes you get comcast with DirectTV. Channel 640 If you are in the local market you can watch the games. However if you are outside of the Chicagoland area you might get Comcast but the baseball games will be blacked out.

    Dam that is hilarious
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 12:14 AM) His change was pathetic tonight. I think he was hanging his curve man. His change on the 2nd pitch of the last at bat and I think the 2nd or 3rd of the Beltre bat and one to Sexson had them so far out ahead. I think it was curve that wasn't biting at all
  9. well thats a depressing loss, but oh well, it happens
  10. His change up is just plain and simply NASTY
  11. NO f***ING WAY!!! I CANT STOP LAUGHING AFTER THAT
  12. Whose due up in the 9th? And who will actually bat in the 9th?
  13. Uh oh - Just heard Hunter is on this crew. Hunter + West Coast Trip = Multiple Ejections
  14. Still a spot, I'd be down. Would be a hell of a lot better than studying for finals
  15. I'm listening to the Mariner radio feed on XM and they just spent 2-3 minutes talking about how much they respected Konerko for showing loyalty to the team and resigning with them for less money. That was pretty cool to hear on another station.
  16. Anyone else just lose radio?
  17. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) I said league, as in AL, not the majors. Tough to compare between leagues. Gotcha, in the AL the only one I can think of is Halladay maybe Harden a tad below.
  18. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 03:12 PM) Roy Halladay? How about the other Roy? Oswalt? or even Carpenter over the last 13 months
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 23, 2006 -> 02:58 PM) 94 pitches for Jose. I'd let him go one more and then let Matt/Cliff get the 9th. On the pregame Cooper said that Thornton's unavailable today, something about soreness in the back. Said he wasnt available yesterday either
  20. When was the last time the Sox went back to back twice in the same game?
  21. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 21, 2006 -> 09:59 PM) Sierra and Franco just won't retire. I like them both but Ruban has to be getting old too. So you are catching the Dog vs. Dawg debate right now. THIS IS BAD RADIO
  22. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 11, 2006 -> 07:41 AM) Two different issues here, the "she was drunk, but said yes", is not an excuse to rape someone. :headshake It's not even that. Someone wakes up in the morning next to someone (didn't necessarily have sex) and claims rape and date rape because "she's a girl who'd never do that."

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 03:10 PM) Wave runner Inner peace or money? Why can't you have both? Irish Car Bomb or Jaegar Bomb?

Ruffles Potato Chips (that just makes me hungry thinking about them) Starbucks Double Shot (Caffeine drink of choice for those late night library times [just like now])
