  2. Through 2 innings: Carlos Zambrano - 57 pitches Eric Milton - 18 pitches
  3. Yep, he's just like Contreras. If he puts a few guys on base and and gives up a few runs, he completely loses his head.
  4. He's given up 5 runs on 6 hits through 2 innings so far. He has also issued 3 walks. He has thrown 57 pitches through 2 innings.

  7. My guess would be Michael Wuertz if Busty doesn't give the job back to LaChoke.

  10. Understood. In any case, we both agree that Ozzie needs to play as many lefties against Harden as possible. Buehrle has a good chance of shutting down the A's primarily lefty lineup but we will need to find ways to score on Harden.
  11. The only problem I have with that lineup is Crede batting sixth. I know this may sound like BS but why move Crede up in the lineup and put more pressure on him to produce? He is having great success batting in the lower third of the order. In other words, why mess with a good thing?
  12. Good point. I think some posters here must think that baseball players are robots that never get tired or wear down. People also seem to forget that every manager in the MLB plays different lineups based on the pitching matchup.
  13. Okay, like this then? LF Podsednik 2B Willie DH Everett 1B Gload CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede RF Timo SS Uribe
  14. I think we need as many lefties in the lineup as possible against Harden... LF Podsednik 2B Willie DH Everett 1B Konerko RF Gload CF Rowand C Pierzynski 3B Crede SS Uribe However, the thought of Gload playing RF makes me want to crap my pants. We could see Timo in RF tomorrow night.
  15. By the way, in response to the title of this thread -- there is already one God and his name is... OZUNA!!!
  16. I think the difference is that he is trusting his stuff more. He also seems to be using his breaking ball more, which is actually alot better than I thought it was. He just needs to keep challenging hitters. He was still nibbling the plate at times last night but he went after batters on full counts and made them ground out.

  18. Yep, and Dusty is getting ripped on the radio because of it. Dusty has used Fox for 3 games in a row and he used him tonight in a non-save situation. Dusty had Fox warming up for the save but the Cubs scored another run and didn't need him. Dusty decided to pitch him anyways. Fox threw 29 pitches and threw his arm out of the socket. They are reaming Dusty for overusing the injury-prone reliever.

  20. True, but Pods does the same stuff to get on base.
